Required subjects for Healthcare Professions Support HND at Boston College
In order to study the Healthcare Professions Support HND Level 5, you will need to have successfully completed:
A BTEC Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or a related subject), a T Level in Health, A Levels which demonstrate strong performance and subject related knowledge, or an Access to Higher Education Diploma
GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 and/or minimum IELTS score of 6
Please note that related work experience may be considered.
It is strongly recommended that you are employed or volunteering in a work placement to meet the requirement of 450 hours across the 2 years of the qualification. This must be in a health and/or social care role providing direct care to service users. You will need a supervisor in your setting who can oversee your continued development and provide evidence for your portfolio.
