Required subjects for Creative Writing BA Hons at Birmingham City University
A Level: 112-72 UCAS Tariff points / BBC-CDE (or equivalent)
AS Level: Must be in a different subject to A Levels
A maximum of four subjects will be considered
Preferred subjects: English or another Arts, Humanities or Social Science subject. This includes subjects such as History, Geography, Politics, Sociology, Psychology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Languages, Media Studies, Law and Economics. We will also consider applicants with qualifications in other subjects that develop analytical thinking, critical evaluation and written communication skills.
Applicants who do not hold a level 3 qualification in English will require GCSE English Language or English Literature at grade C/4 or above.
