I switched courses to come to this university after my previous one was not up to my standards and this course & campus has been significantly better. The campus has lots of great study spaces & is open late if you want to study late with your friends and the environment is gorgeous. The food options are pretty nice too, the coffee was surprisingly good. The lecturers so far have been very enthusiastic and helpful, lectures are very engaging and I find myself learning much more here than at my previous university. read more

The campus is beautiful and facilities are adequate. The food is reasonably priced especially for bath. There are mainly gender neutral toilets but there are some gendered toilets. The campus is split into 2 parts which is alright if you want to get your steps in. However, this can make days stressful as the timetabling is awful with some students having back to back lessons all day on opposite sides of campus. Cramped timetabling so far has been hugely detrimental to my learning as I have no time to eat lunch so updating or reviewing notes is impossible. The WiFi can be very hit or miss. Especially when logging attendance on the BSU app due to the high volume of people at the same time. read more

My experience at Bath Spa University has been truly rewarding. The faculty members are not only highly knowledgeable but also approachable and genuinely invested in students’ growth, both academically and personally. The campus provides excellent resources, from well-equipped libraries and labs to modern study spaces that encourage collaboration and creativity. One of the things I value most is the supportive and diverse community, it feels like a place where everyone belongs. There are plenty of opportunities for involvement outside the classroom as well, whether through student organizations, cultural events, or research initiatives. The university also does a great job of preparing students for the future, with strong career services, internships, and industry connections. Overall, I feel proud to be a part of Bath Spa University, and I’m confident the skills and experiences I’ve gained here will serve me well beyond graduation. read more

So many clubs, societies and everyone's incredibly welcoming. You can join anytime although taster sessions run after freshers week. 90% are free due to funding from Bath Spa - meaning you can try out anything you'd like! There's lots of student union events during freshers however it does slightly reduce afterwards (which is understandable). read more
