Studying at Bangor has changed my life for the better. Moving here from the midlands helped me escape the hustle and bustle so that I could focus and work on myself. The uni is stellar in terms of support, and very accommodating. I believe I’ve been able to succeed and perform as well as I do thanks to the support I’ve received. There are issues, as there are with any uni, and it’s going to be an interesting next few years for the uni, but my experience as a student of the School for Computer Science and Engineering has been great. read more

Coming to Bangor University was my own choice. I shortlisted this university among a list of universities. I really feel lucky to be a student of BU, because I never felt empty, deserted, or alone. Bangor university is as excellent as it is gorgeous. The walls of the castle-like building holds not only ancient stories but also bustling brains filled with ideas and knowledge. Coming from a country that sees teaching as secondary, it is such a relief to be among researchers and scholars who treat it as an honor. I have learnt so much about my course and my abilities in this one month since joining. Classrooms are not only filled with lectures but also discussions that demand critical thinking and problem solving. We are able to put what we have learnt in theory right then and there in practice. This will go a long way in helping me establish myself as a clinical psychologist who is able to tend to patients as best as she can. read more
