Nursing Studies (Registered Nurse Adult Nursing), BSc Hons FullTime

I have so far had a great experience at Aston University as a nursing student. I have felt very supported by the nursing team and have grown so much as a person since starting my course. Nursing is a hard course that can at times leave you doubting yourself in every aspect, but nursing can also help you prove to yourself that you are resilient, smart, strong, compassionate, kind and everything in between. When I started this course if someone was to ask me why I wanted to be a nurse I would’ve said a string of meaningless sentences. However, if I were to be asked now why I want to be a nurse, I would say ‘ I want to be a nurse to celebrate with my patients, to be a source of comfort for my patients and their families, to bring a smile to my patients faces & to help my patients and their families on their hardest days. To be a nurse is not just a job but a testament to one’s character. Through Aston University’s amazing nursing/medical team, I know what type of nurse I want to be :) read more
