It’s a good university with good lecturers for my course (Law) but the facilities are so poor. They built a new Student Union building , which opened in September and has already begun to leak. There is no separate law building. Study spaces are hard to find during exam season.
The facilities and teaching at UL is amazing, I’m really enjoying my time here
Great campus with lots of green space. Fabulous library. A major downside is no subsidised student foods/canteen or coffee places. Opened a new coffee shop which charges €8.50 for a matcha on a student budget ????
Nice campus and facilities, would prefer if it was closer to city.

Great campus but incredibly difficult to get accommodation
Good university experience. Fees are expensive for allied health masters courses
The University of Limerick has a modern campus with great sports facilities, including a top gym and swimming pool. There are many clubs, societies, and events for students. The Students’ Union is helpful and active. Wi-Fi is reliable across the campus. My time in the university has been very enjoyable and I look forward to the rest of my time studying there!
UL is a great college to study at, the facilities here are state of the art and the inhabitants also are very warming and kind. If you are looking for a more social college it is the place to be.
University grounds and student life is amazing
Generally a busy campus with lots of activities. Some of the buildings are a bit dated. Library is great and great sports facilities
I have been studying in UL for the last 4 years. I have taken part in many societies like the Law Society and Fashion Society. These societies were so fun, and I got to meet so many new people. As well as this the careers service is so helpful when I was due to go on my placement. They held CV clinics and one on one mock interviews. Our student centre are also quite helpful.
