The uni has an amazing atmosphere for studying and just hanging out with friends. The rise programmes are also very interesting.
It is very entertaining and there is always something to do. There is always support when needed. It brings many amazing opportunities

I have enjoyed my experience at university, WiFi could be better and toilets could be cleaner. However, all facilities are great!

You may be interested in joining one of our Societies and Clubs on offer. They’re a great way to meet new people and feel part of the Manchester Met community, whilst taking part in social activities that interest you! There are also volunteering opportunities available which again act as a great opportunity to meet likeminded students and gain new social experiences. My experience with the university is very helpful in my academic and career growth providing varied tasks on jobs4student and academic workshops which helps with assignments. In addition, the social life of the university meaning the societies and varied events with the union makes the experience at university more enjoyable.

Loving it, it’s been a blast so far
overall i have not partaken in any club or societies therefore struggle to comment on that however one thing that really stood out to me is the career support given to the business management student with all the fairs as well as great focus on your future through the development of your linked in account and exposure to industrial placements

Really helpful university with assignments, all lecturers and tutors are very understanding and treat you very well.
It’s been great with a lot of opportunities to help us with our careers

Everything is good and works. The campus is a bit busy sometimes and WiFi doesn't work'

In some rooms the wifi doesn’t work properly. Generally I really enjoy the education at university but sometimes find it hard to engage when lectures read off slides

I came from a different country, expecting to find myself lost or isolated. Being an international student never put me back and especially in MMU, I found myself in a welcoming community and one that I grow more comfortable with everyday.

Had a good experience in the University. It was something I enjoyed staying here as an international student

Very lovely university, I love all the teachers. The toilets are very spacious which I like. The students education is really good

I have great experience studying at MMU as a student of MSc in HR Management course. My professors are very helpful and have lots of knowledge and real experience in HR field. I believe my course provides me sufficient knowledge to be an Hr Manager/ Hr Director in the future.

Here as a degree apprentice for one day a week, brilliant course, facilities and tutors. Great experience and support.
No complaints. Never really been to the Union but what I’ve seen looks good. Wifi is kinda inconsistent

Accessible and friendly campus, good facilities mainly use SODA building and has everything I need for my course

My university experience has been quite good so far, I have learnt a lot and made a lot of new experiences and connections. I do wish we had more bespoke career opportunities and advice and more international or competition opportunities
