Worst experience ever. Administration and management is very unprofessional and treat international students poorly. I studied ACCA in BPP MANCHESTER and I got really ill in my last semester so I failed my last Papers. Given that I never failed before, I asked to re-take a class. International admissions team was incompetent and plain out rude. Showed zero empathy and didn’t even bother to see my medical evidence, they just blatantly refused my class re-take request based on poor academic progression. However I have been enrolled in BPP for two years with no record of previous failure or poor attendance. Very disappointed in their conduct. Would not recommend this university as it seems like it’s merely a profit making institution rather than an educational one.
They have lecturers who cannot properly mark exam scripts because they do not have the knowledge to do so. They dismiss those who can mark exam scripts. Top management supports those who don't know how to mark. Ruthless.
I was shocked to see the reviews on BPP after I pulled out of their apprenticeship scheme. Everything and everyone I have spoken to has been totally unorganised. I could not take the back and forth error and mistakes made and pulled out, best decision I have made. They are that bad that it made me question my own competence and rest assured, it isn't me. Please do not waste your time and money on them, you will get no where.
I did my LLB with BPP University, our Course head was Adam Doyle at first but later changed to Debra Hinds. The quality of service received was satisfactory, however, there were times where we would have had to send reminders to have issues dealt with in a timely fashion. There are many clubs and societies students can become involved with, I was part of the Debate team. At least 2-3 times a month I received emails on my student account with information about career guidance meetings or opportunities, that has helped me quite a lot to ascertain where I would have wanted to specialise post-degree. I do not regret attending BPP University for my law degree. Any further questions, please feel free to ask.
Awful experience, don't apply for an apprenticeship as they have not got a clue of how to administer the programme, they have extremely poor communication skills and have not followed any of their internal polices.
BPP University’s tendency is to get money from students....they don’t care about students life. Even they doesn’t provide proper reference for students who wants to study further. UKVI should black listed this uni.....
Horrible university. The administration is a joke. Careers service are incompetent and the overall experience was regretful. No one takes BPP Business School seriously as a good university. I regret having gone there with every fibre in my body. I only went there because it wasn't as expensive as many other universities and the registration process was so much quicker. I should have waited 6 months or a year to get into any redbrick university. This university will NEVER be redbrick material. They are not proactive whatsoever and do not care about their students at all. Some of my fellow students are not putting this university name on their CV and I will not either. It is embarrassing.
I went to BPP to study the legal practice course as they said i could top-up and receive a "free" masters degree in legal practice. I had to resit one of my elective modules and as a result I was awarded the grade of "complete" and been told i could no longer top-up to obtain a masters degree. This has left me with a worthless qualification as the LPC is due to be phased out in 2020
Most horrendous university. If you are thinking of applying then not to bother. Save your money. They just take the fee but won't give you a degree. Many students fail due to low class tutors who need educating themselves. Use your money to go to a better university. At least they award you a degree. Here there's no chance. Many students left because they were failed many times. So take my advice and don't apply to bpp.
I have done a masters degree and paid £18,000 to Bpp university. The university management have very bad relation with students and treat them like prisoners. If you are in the Bpp campus just keep in mind that your self respect and your human rights are ended. Strongly recommend to not take admission and safe your future and money!!!
I completed my ACCA this March And took tuition for all my papers from BPP. I am so very happy that I came in contact with so many great tutors from BPP who have been so very generously helpful, friendly and energetic. Even when the lectures were over my tutors were there for me and helped me out through emails. I can remember when it was the last day before exam and I had some tiny matters to discuss. I was wondering whether it would be ok to discuss them over email or whether I will get replies in time. But actually it took just some few minutes for my respected tutors to reply me back. They explained everything in so much detail in the reply. I was really grateful. I still am. I had some amazingly motivating tutors as well who made the challenging papers much more fascinating. Thanks a lot to all of them
A racist university where a lecturer tells students that blacks are greediest race and fasting makes muslims savage and delusional. One of the worst scam universities out there with scam lecturers and scam staff. Do not waste your money and time at BPP better to look for a real university. From lecturers to managers everyone is a scam artist. Lecturers will convince you that they will help you until you actually test them out. Weak students are kept to the back since they require a bit more effort by lecturer. Lecturers are either part time or not even qualified for the subject they are teaching, so their concern is to end the session and get paid they dont care about the students. I would never recommend to enrol here unless you want to waste time, end up with a permanent negative and scaring experience and this university is not even good for socialising.
A scam university, racist and under qualified lecturers, scam artist staff. this university is a scam and nothing more do not waste your money and time by sending your children or enrolling yourself to this university. Teachers are scam artists and wont help students often the lecturers do not have the background for the subject but are substituting or part time workers who are only concerned with their pay and not with students , will come up with most convincing speech but not up for the standard or effort. They students are taught to stick to their own race and nationality. Often students are given wrong results. References for jobs are not given out to students. International students are considered as the lowest priority. Please do not study here as your child or yourself will end up with a complete disappointment and waste of time and money. there are better universities out there until this university doesn't raise its standards
Honestly, the worst experience in my entire life. BPP pride themselves in ‘professionalism’ however, I had received the complete opposite. Inefficient and uncooperating staff members and an unorganised system overall. I have had no access to my timetable, learning online system, no materials provided and had received no student ID card. I do not know what I am paying for. After contacting several individuals, I have only received slow and short replies - none actually dealing with the issues. I have been with BPP 3 weeks and already they are excellent when it comes to payment reminders but unfortunately, the fees does not live up to the service. Please reconsider your your options. You will struggle to pass and are certain to fail, surely that if you cannot even access your timetable to know where and when lessons are or how would you study online if you have no access to it? BPP are a money making institution. Beware.
Only care about money. I discontinued my studies at this institution a year ago and they still send me emails soliciting for fees. I would not recommend this university to any international student who is looking for quality in exchange for you hard earned cash. Take that to the bank.
I just joined the post graduate programme for clinical dentistry , however they uni didnt explain for me that your program is not registered with NHS and u cant work on patient , and now most of my friends are deeply disparate to find a solution and figure out something because : 1-Can't transfer to kings collage or UCL or sheffeld , the year 1 or 2 wont be counted , due to the lack of clinical hours . 2-after graduation wont be GDC registered and need to sit for two years for ORE exam 3-Most of my friends will shift for part-time student the one whom on scholarship 4-The uni as alot mentioned dont care about the students , but when students are coming from international places and traveling 20 hour on the plan , it does make a different . What i liked about was the teaching stuff are awesome and u get to meet alot of good doctors . I hope that the university will improve and the program will develop to better level . That's the truth I wanted to get off my chest
This univeristy is a joke. The staff there are so rude, unhelpful, and i have even been harrases by one of the administration staff and if you complain they would probably not accept it as always. Unfortunately most of the students are internationals and no one complains. Everytime you need help there is one available to help, they dont answer emails and basically no one cares because it is just a money making institution. My student experience at this university has been a nightmare, the amount of times i have been stressed because of the staff members that just wont help or give tou wrong information and then dont keep responsibility.
I had a very bad experience - teachers seemed fine, but the administration was always unhelpful and (as other reviewers have pointed out) to my mind they just want to grab your money. If I phoned up with a query no effort was made to answer it, I was just passed around from department to department having nothing to do with my questions. My online account was deactivated for several days without explanation (and when you are trying to fit study around a full time job this is a serious loss of time), before being restored several days later with different username and password and zero explanation as to why this changed. When I wanted to drop the GDL they did nothing with my email until I actively chased them. Billing still chased me insisting I pay the remainder of the first years fees with no interest in customer experience. If I do make time to do the GDL in the future I will not be returning to BPP. Buyer beware.
Made an enquiry for LPC, staff were not particularly helpful. I still made an application but the admission process made me feel very uncomfortable. Very money grabbing approach. I chose the University of Law, with a couple of friends, but the majority of my GDL friends chose BBP. None have training contracts....
INEFFICIENT AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...Tend to put the responsibility on student's head. Applied and accepted for BPTC but very unhappy with the way they treat! Wondering if someone ever doing the quality check with the staff. Awfully admission staff have the very poor knowledge they tend to be known far less than a novice student.
0 STARS. Absolutely awful company. The admin side is non-existent and you're very lucky to receive even an email without several errors in it, if you receive an email from them at all. They repeatedly messed up my course and the resources required for it, booked our 2 exams a mere week after the online lectures (which were themselves far below our expectations of 'teaching') even though we were recommended to revise for at least 2 hours per exam per day for 2-3 weeks, and then blamed the 'students laziness' for the entire class failing. Do not use this company they are only after your money
As others have mentioned, the admin is SO appalling that you really couldn't make it up. Hardly anything scrapes through without fault. And as anyone studying such an intense law course will surely verify this adds enormous levels of stress and requires additional time which is incredibly short supply as it is. From registration through to lectures/tutorials and then exams the course has been riddled with admin errors. The contact channels ar just awful. There is rarely a telephone number and do not expect a quick reply (if at all) by email. Not helpful when there are inevitably urgent enquiries. After several attempts, someone finally answered but was rude, evasive, entirely unhelpful and the exam centre manager was bewildered and in disbelief. They have been contacted about this but they simply don't seem to care. I have not witnessed any improvements. Without any certainty I would have better grades if I'd chosen another law school and a lot less stress! Big regrets.
This is the WORST university anyone can attend. The administration is more than INCOMPETENT, they are rude; lazy; and lack any form of training in customer service. They are never correct on start dates and have a tendency to do everything else but accommodate paying students. I will suggest that this be the second to last university of choice for nay potential student unless you are interested in a professional course, resulting in little day-day interaction with the university employees. Please do not use any of their library facilities. Books are kept on shelves without labels, so good luck finding the text you're trying to reference. the library attendants are also clueless and rely on laptop requests to fulfill their day. Bathroom facilities are like a war zone and class rooms are small and cramped.
The most useless university from an administrative point of view. From being given the wrong start date for my LPC, taking an age to respond to any emails, sending out my course materials with half the books missing, to finally sending me a letter two years after receiving my Masters Degree that I have run out of time and failed to complete the course. Hopeless. Aside from that the teaching was actually quite decent and I enjoyed my studies there, just beware of the admin side.
This has been a terrible experience as previously I have used 7city and never had any issues receiving their content. However, I thought I would try BPP and it was the biggest mistake. The service is horrendous as I have purchased and online course and have been unable to access any of the content online for the past 2 weeks. I have been communicating on a daily basis to request assistance and the internal structure is lacking in the communication department as they do not liaise with each other properly. It has been a pretty bad experience all round communicating with the teams. Perhaps, if online access and the package are received you will have no problems, but if you have to deal with them its no use.
one of the most flexible and apparently the best university of law. im from pakistan partner center . studying law from here . i have a great experience of studying here its verry comfortable and we have a great support team of teachers at here roots ivy as well as in uk
BPP has really bad and inefficient customer service but very quick in collecting fees. After payment, the customer service will not reply to your email even if the email needs their urgent attention. After a number to email sent to them, they take so long to reply and ask you to feedback asap for immediate action. However, after you feedback right away, they take so long to reply again. It has been almost 2 weeks and such simple thing still haven't been solved by the customer service. If you were guessing what is the urgent thing, well, it is the login details. They charged you the fees, payment made...no login details or instructions given to you for your online class that you booked. No invoice issued to you too. Such a bad bad customer service! If I have not made any payment yet, I will cancel all booking. Anyway, I decided to crossed out BPP in my future options. ewww
"BPP University's aims are to promote excellence in professional education by being forward-thinking, progressive and innovative, to bridge the gap between education and professional practice, to inspire and challenge tomorrow's business and professional people in a supportive learning environment." Friendly Staff, Industry experienced teacher, Modern class room, Award winning study materials, Free hot drinks on campus......... the list will go on. I would recommend BPP if you are interested to study Law or Business.
Careerwise, BPP is so useful as there are many pro bono opportunities, they also have lots of booklets and leaflets with help finding a training contract and such. We also get FREE books, such a score as books for university are so expensive. However, the societies and student union isn't very good, the university isn't sociable at all. So if you are looking for a university that would be really good for your career, this is the place to be. It may not be a good university for social reasons, but everyone is cool and it's easy to get along with everyone.
