15 BPP University Reviews
This is the WORST university anyone can attend. The administration is more than INCOMPETENT, they are rude; lazy; and lack any form of training in customer service. They are never correct on start dates and have a tendency to do everything else but accommodate paying students. I will suggest that this be the second to last university of choice for nay potential student unless you are interested in a professional course, resulting in little day-day interaction with the university employees. Please do not use any of their library facilities. Books are kept on shelves without labels, so good luck finding the text you're trying to reference. the library attendants are also clueless and rely on laptop requests to fulfill their day. Bathroom facilities are like a war zone and class rooms are small and cramped.
The most useless university from an administrative point of view. From being given the wrong start date for my LPC, taking an age to respond to any emails, sending out my course materials with half the books missing, to finally sending me a letter two years after receiving my Masters Degree that I have run out of time and failed to complete the course. Hopeless. Aside from that the teaching was actually quite decent and I enjoyed my studies there, just beware of the admin side.
This has been a terrible experience as previously I have used 7city and never had any issues receiving their content. However, I thought I would try BPP and it was the biggest mistake. The service is horrendous as I have purchased and online course and have been unable to access any of the content online for the past 2 weeks. I have been communicating on a daily basis to request assistance and the internal structure is lacking in the communication department as they do not liaise with each other properly. It has been a pretty bad experience all round communicating with the teams. Perhaps, if online access and the package are received you will have no problems, but if you have to deal with them its no use.
BPP has really bad and inefficient customer service but very quick in collecting fees. After payment, the customer service will not reply to your email even if the email needs their urgent attention. After a number to email sent to them, they take so long to reply and ask you to feedback asap for immediate action. However, after you feedback right away, they take so long to reply again. It has been almost 2 weeks and such simple thing still haven't been solved by the customer service. If you were guessing what is the urgent thing, well, it is the login details. They charged you the fees, payment made...no login details or instructions given to you for your online class that you booked. No invoice issued to you too. Such a bad bad customer service! If I have not made any payment yet, I will cancel all booking. Anyway, I decided to crossed out BPP in my future options. ewww
Careerwise, BPP is so useful as there are many pro bono opportunities, they also have lots of booklets and leaflets with help finding a training contract and such. We also get FREE books, such a score as books for university are so expensive. However, the societies and student union isn't very good, the university isn't sociable at all. So if you are looking for a university that would be really good for your career, this is the place to be. It may not be a good university for social reasons, but everyone is cool and it's easy to get along with everyone.
As others have mentioned, the admin is SO appalling that you really couldn't make it up. Hardly anything scrapes through without fault. And as anyone studying such an intense law course will surely verify this adds enormous levels of stress and requires additional time which is incredibly short supply as it is. From registration through to lectures/tutorials and then exams the course has been riddled with admin errors. The contact channels ar just awful. There is rarely a telephone number and do not expect a quick reply (if at all) by email. Not helpful when there are inevitably urgent enquiries. After several attempts, someone finally answered but was rude, evasive, entirely unhelpful and the exam centre manager was bewildered and in disbelief. They have been contacted about this but they simply don't seem to care. I have not witnessed any improvements. Without any certainty I would have better grades if I'd chosen another law school and a lot less stress! Big regrets.
