Very good uni; teachers and staff alike are very helpful. Website however is a bit difficult and there should be better provision of some things. Two things I would like to see improved are the app, as it crashes a lot or is rather slow when checking my calendar, on both my iPad and iPhone, and pressing on ‘myResults’ causes the app to close. Another point i would change is make it easier to get a replacement ID. I found that rather tricky as I was told the LJMU shop is no longer supported, and I was confused how to get a new one.
It is a very good uni! Very sociable and there is always loads of events going on. The careers team really helped me out this year in showing me my options for final year
The studio space in the John Lennon building is great and tutors really let you make it your own. The tutors are really helpful and make each module interesting and enjoyable. All writhing walking distance of my accommodation.
It was very good however i didnt join up to alot of clubs or societies so i would overally give LJMU a 7/10
Fantastic University, easily the best one I have attended.
Love the clubs I'm in, haven't the need for support but know it's there. But I wish there was more opportunities for those who aren't in completely flexible courses like nursing. The wifi could be better, it works at first but slowly becomes too slow or no longer useable .
Facilities are good and well-kept; however, the campus as a whole feels very disconnected and isn’t very community-oriented.
I really enjoy My university, they are so helpful and September is my last year and I have had such an experience , I am from Northern Ireland and the university has made me feel welcomed
Great uni with excellent teaching facilities in an amazing city
The staff at LJMU really help me a lot with my studies, my living especially I am an international student. I would recommend everyone to seek help from them whenever you are troubled.
The uni has been super supportive with any additional needs
Only done my first year at university but so far I have no complains, the facilities, staff, etc have all been brilliant.
Really enjoyable experience, campus and facilities were great. Staff very helpful and passionate about what they teach.
Great university, with lovely grounds and facilities
Liverpool John moores is very helpful
It’s been good so far- really enjoyed it
Good locations for lecture halls
Sometimes lectures were a bit useless but overall I’ve had a good first year.
So many clubs to get into. And they advertise them throughout the year, not just at the start.
Staff are great help when needed
The staff at LJMU have all been lovely and. If ever I have needed to contact them regarding anything at all, they have been helpful and friendly. There have been many opportunities to be involved with societies and clubs, and part of research by students. The social spaces and lecture halls are comfortable and clean, with the Wi-Fi working on my laptop and phone.
Great university great spot in the city, always got something on like food shop outside etc
Excellent University with great facilities and amazing societies
I’ve had a positive experience at LJMU so far and have enjoyed my time here.

Very good university loved it a lot good location
I like uni and the location as it isn’t too far from the city centre
Great university, would recommend!
Love the experience so far. The staff and students are all very warm and welcoming. The quality of education is superb.
The lecturers/seminar leaders are so helpful and reassuring, I really get along with them and I feel like I could go to them with any issue and they would work with me to get it solved. The new state-of-the-art facilities and buildings have really modernised campus, but I really like that the uni buildings are historic too! The libraries are great and have everything you could need. I’ve loved my time here and would recommend it to anyone. The courses really prepare you for a strong career and provide you with invaluable experience and trips too.
Good University, teachers are helpful and kind.
There are lots of opportunities and ways to participate in group activities, library is very handy.
As a January intake student, my experience in uni has not been as positive and student-y as September intake students. I feel like as a different intake, our cohort has missed out on a lot of social or other events organized. Overall, the support is better than other universities I have looked into. Student wellbeing, financial advice, counseling and other academic services are available for everyone
Good mental health support, could have better support with lectures

The tutors here are great at what they do and provide help with whatever you need and other facilities are also really great including the SU building and also the libraries.

Good facilities, overall polite staff
Great uni had a great few years
great people there, campus easily navigated
I've overall had a good experience at this university. The course that I have taken (Psychology) has been really interesting and living in Liverpool has been amazing. The only downside is that for any students who are near the city campus are really far away from the student union building, so I hardly ever went there or knew any information about it.
A great university with friendly lectures who are happy to help with any issues. The wifi can be a little hit and miss as I always have issues trying to connect.
Really enjoyed my time at LJMU so far, friendly community and great study places.

Liverpool John Moores University is a good university due to the fact it encourages me to push myself within my course and has allowed me to meet new people through societies.
Great uni but wish there was more events planned
a great university and glad i am able to attend my dream course provided by ljmu. tutors are lovely and very easy to bond with which makes the university life a lot easier if any help or support is needed.
Eh it's alright but I'm dropping out next year
The university is what you make of it, I’m on an art course and the facilities for the course are really good. However if you make good use of the SU and sports teams there’s a real sense of community which is very much worth it.
Great, best university In the north west
