Everything is great. Aimless walk, blow the evening breeze after the evening study, take a look at the orange sunset filled with the earth, the light of the early month quietly climbed on the branches, and dancing shining light and shadow, feel the beauty and tenderness of the campus.

University of leicester is one of the most university in UK. It is good ranking most other universities. Genetic school is highly rank.
Overall I’m happy with the facilities and education
Very nice and excellent school
Good uni, cheap city, but little to do
Really interactive student union
Amazing university with an extraordinary campus. Lecturers do a fantastic job teaching the students and providing them with plenty of information and resources to complete essays.
I am happy with the university
Lecturers come varied however some are very good
Good, the University has good lecturers for the most part.
It’s a nice campus with everything you really need so it’s cool
A very good university that's gives you a well rounded experience.
my course tutors and the facilities at the university have all matched and exceeded my expectations
It's nothing special, could be a lot worse.
Good university. Good people and amazing lecturers.
Great university, amazing opportunities
Very good experience I love the university
Good uni with nice people and very good library to study and make friends
The University of Leicester is a very good uni which provides a wide range of experiences and you get to meet a wide range of people.
all the amenities that the uni provides are great
Beautiful campus, professional and very helpful staff. I feel lucky to be studying here as an international student.
Beautiful University with quality education. Professors are very cordial and polite.
The laptop facilites are good
Great university with great staff
Nice campus with good facilities
Very amazing experience. I love it.
The university has been a great experience for me.
Nothing special. Between strikes and the pandemic there hasn't been much teaching either. Teacher's are amazing but the University itself needs work but there are a lot of good social opportunities though so you only fully miss out if you don't put yourself out there.
Great location. Big campus. Lots of study spaces. Library now open 24/7
I'm having a good experience so far!
Very supportive community with a lot to do in spare time. Great learning environment, would recommend for sure
Good environment with lots to do out side of studying and good city
Good facilities for all students to use e.g. the library, the gym, the student union. The student union has a range of food outlets for around £2-5 so you can always find something to eat or drink if you’re hungry, and there is a cafe in the library as well.
A great study environment for student learning.
The campus is so nice to just sit wherever you like and read or work on your laptop or meet friends or classmates. The teachers are amazing. Cannot praise their support enough. Loads of opportunities to get involved with things. The library is MASSIVE and so accessible for everyone. The food is really expensive for what it is. We are poor uni students and the prices are high.
I really enjoy studying at uni of leicester and plan to continue my masters degree in here
My uni experience was good overall. You can meet different people at any time (although it's a little difficult to befriend them.)
The University of Leicester is good, happy to study here and made some friends.
Decent uni, Aerospace also decent
The campus is decent enough, but some buildings are very much starting to show their age. Good SU. Teaching varies from excelled to relatively poor for university standard.
Good uni, smaller than I imagined but make up for everything else
The university is really good. I really reccomend
It’s alright I guess but could be better
Good university, wifi not the best in some areas
STAY AWAY FROM BLOCK F. I have a complete apartment and am paying a premium to stay in a place which would be a noted health concern in Canada. Leaking windows in the bedrooms. Mould in the wooden windowsills and bathrooms plastic seams. Dust EVERYWHERE at all times. You can dust daily - and it is a fine, blue dust. It looks like lint from laundry exhaust. They scheduled significant works done WHILE STUDENTS WERE IN RESIDENCE. No plastic sheeting was used to cover soft surfaces in bedrooms, etc. Students are then expected to do all the washing and cleaning of these works at their own expense. My dry clean only coat must be cleaned now my own expense. If you have asthma or a respiratory condition - run far, far away. I have been ill since arrival. Despite repeated e-mails nothing is addressed in a timely manner. Toilet took 2+ weeks to be fixed. In addition, the laundry facilities are absolutely foul. Constantly smelling sewage in the laundry rooms from backed up / broken machines.
Good uni nice experience, city is eh
Doing my teacher training here, the staff are fantastic but some of the facilities, especially the library, need improvements or attention - there is often only 1 working printer in the whole library! The library is often ram-packed too - definitely more space/another library needed! (ps: considering how ridiculously low lecturers get paid it makes me wonder where my 9 grand is going...)
Great study and social experience, a lot of support from staff and an overall very pleasant university life
Great university and good facilities
I was a distance learner so did not go to the campus.
Overral is a good experience and good campus
Good facilities, food outlets and general campus life. Never feels too crowded and there are a lot of study options available should you want to remain on campus.
Pretty good campus and facilities.
Really good university and the course is good.
Nice university, staff are helpful and supportive
UoL has the best career service, I've used their mock interviews & mock assesment centres & they have been of great help.
Pretty average uni on the whole except for some subjects where it’s specialist. Welcoming environment, pretty good on the whole. Not many (affordable) food options on campus, student bus is very unreliable. But my department is great, brilliant lecturers too!
An outstanding university- your student life will be simply amazing and you can’t ask for more. Lecturers are engaging and really knowledgeable, since they study in the best universities in the world. There are a number of careers opportunities, I haven’t ever seen more in any other university: countless societies and a host of activities to do, like many conferences and meetings with the most successful people in the UK and in the world too. Don’t miss out!
Only been around 1 year during covid. New SU & good facilities
This is a very perfect apartment. The apartment facilities are very good and the front desk management is very enthusiastic. Living here is like being at home and very warm. In particular, warm-hearted reception staff, will be responsible for solving students' every problem!
The university is standard, has most facilities that you would expect. The new Percy Gee building is probably the nicest
Very supportive and friendly atmosphere- lecturers feel really easy and comfortable to talk to even after having a year mostly online
Academic freedom nonexistent. They force you to do things they are comfortable and familiar with. Teachers can’t speak English well. Their level of experience is very poor. I can definitely teach better than my tutors. 2 out of 5 stars for teachers.
I don't use much of the above as a postgrad but the facilities are good
I had an amazing time at the University. I think the campus is great and the new buildings and wasting places add a lot vibrancy to the environment. The lecturer and all the staff is lovely and very helpful.
DMU is an amazing university a lot of opportunities and support given to the students apart from that the social events and social life it’s really good would definitely recommend dmu
Career service really need some changes and also i can understand due to covid situation things had been not quite right but there is literally nothing to look up to here.
SU doesn't seem to achieve much except putting on lots of mandatory e-learning for societies that can be quite patronising... rest of the university is fine, societies aren't very accessible for those with placements as part of their degree as events take place in the daytime or early evenings.
Didn’t get to spend much time on campus but it’s okay. Not much interaction from careers or disability support. Students union has been closed the whole year, even to buy food or drink.
Just like any other uni, same campus vibe, same university webiste template, same student union, same annoying jargon in their emails. As usual there are some great lecturers and some horrible ones. Tends to accept anything that moves and has £9250 on clearing. Most of the people and I got with significantly less than the requirement. If you are not into accomodation you have to pay extra for gym, etc. The food on campus is very overpriced. The uni also charges money to deliver (as there is no graduation ceremony this year) the dimplomas with dhl or if you are overseas. And other pety stuff. Attendance was mandotory and its tracked via self scanning however good thing is it is not inforced so you can give the card to someone to scan you once in awhile. Most modules will likely have the lecture notes uploaded on blackboard. As most other unis it pretends to be very woke. In reality its just a company and will not hesitate to fire its staff or fck over its students if it means profit
University is okay, but during third year we received a negligible amount of support, and only one tutor actually checked how I was whilst under lockdown alone
This year has been rubbish because of covid I’m sure it will be better next year when we can actually meet people the gym is good though but too expensive I won’t be going when it’s not free
Leicester was fantastic, the city is superb, diverse, beautiful. the university provided an excellent standard of teaching, even amongst the pandemic.
Good experience overall. Very nice student union
New SU and library but all the other buildings are fairly old.
i have mostly done work remotely only been in three times for practical work, but that’s due to the pandemic. recorded lectures were very interesting and there was help readily available
Good uni, i really enjoyed my first year there
Staff is good, canteen is good, toilet is good, campus is big, library is nice
Very good accommodation, brilliant location and the common room is great , the staff and 24 hour security are always so friendly the accommodation is a really nice place to live , the rooms are really good and very good value for money
Marvellous experience, great staff, great professors and amazing services. Proud to be a student of this university...
Great faculty and staff. Due to COVID -19 I couldn't much enjoy the campus life.
Amazing university with so much help and facilities as well as a multicultural place to be
The time at the university of Leicester was pleasant, sadly the pandemic occurred and didn’t had the chance to fully experience it.
Student union was under construction.
The University has been incredibly supportive in these a little harder months, regarding the pandemic situation. Feel supported and the facilities that we have been able to use are incredible. So happy I chose UoL.
A very beautiful campus with brilliant social distancing measures, feels safe
A year at the university was more than enough for loads of memories and skills. I had a great social life there as well as educational support. It was just unfortunate that I only experienced five months of campus before the lockdown happened. Still worth relocating across the world for :)
Good university in general with some great campus facilities and an inclusive feel.
good friends with lots of fun at Leicester.
Great Uni. The student union is nice and the campus facilities are really good.
Good facilities on site. Everyone’s super friendly
UOL is the best place fir study as it’s located in the midland which is the easy place to get to every corner of the country. The reputation is good and it helps students a lot to improve their skills.
Unfortunately this university appears to be more concerned with profits and quickly awarding degrees than actual education and developing the skills of its students. This very much appears to be an institutionalized problem as most staff are helpful and keen on teaching, but are not given the proper means and opportunities by the university management.
I like this school very much. The learning environment of the school is superior. Both teachers and staff are responsible and professional. I learned a lot of knowledge and different cultures here. Leicester is located in the central part of the UK and is easily accessible. In the spare time when studying at the university of leicester, you can also travel to many surrounding cities
Very good school, beautiful and fully equipped
Small city with a community feel
All very good, please don't use the Ben Russell court accommodation.
Good university but my first year was pretty much nonexistent due to the strikes that happened all throughout the year.
UoL is a good university. During my time there I had a blast with all the clubs and activities organised. Plus they are building a brand new su which hopefully will be great.
The campus was a building site for the entire duration of my study. The prices of food and beverages continued to climb while the quality dropped as did the service hours. They also got rid of beer on tap. The clubs and societies are alright but are hampered at every turn by the crushing weight of the SU. The SU seems to forcefully insert itself into ever aspect of societies, demanding endless forms which hamper a societies ability to run social events. Rather than focus on improving the student experience, the SU instead spends its time chasing the ill-informed political ideals of the executive officers (which often have nothing to do with student issues) with no real ability for students to voice their dissent.
A good university and I'm really enjoying my time there. I am first year maths student
