The campus scenery is refreshing and delightful. The facilities on campus are highly modernized, which effectively assist me in completing my study tasks.
Quite nice! Very friendly, welcoming and academic
The location is good. The staff of it is good and friendly.
The University of Leeds' orientation service for new students is excellent. It can pick up each new student from the airport to the school and is available 24 hours a day.
Now in my third year, I have loved my time at Leeds University.
The University of Leeds feels like a warm blend of old and new—its red-brick Parkinson Building, with its towering clock, stands right next to bright, modern lecture halls, and the campus hums with students from everywhere, their laughs mixing in the leafy quadrangles. I remember my first day here, completely lost with a crumpled map, staring up at that clock tower as it chimed 10:15, sure I’d miss my first seminar. Then a girl named Amara, her arms full of poetry books, sat down and scribbled a note: "English Department’s through the arch—left at the cherry tree. Prof. Carter loves questions, and the library café has the best hot chocolate. My treat later!" We ran to class (only five minutes late!) and sipped hot chocolate afterward, where she admitted she’d gotten lost three times her first week. That note, tucked in my notebook all year, summed up Leeds for me: not just beautiful buildings, but strangers who quickly feel like family.
University provides a lot of activities where you can meet new people, get to know the university campus and city as well. I love the support and kindness
It’s great,I study in the business school, the courses are interesting and practical,professors are really nice. There are lots of resources and opportunities like global industry programme and study tour in Europe also has the enterprise lab can help build your business mind. The societies also exciting,more than 300 societies availed to join. The Edge is amazing,full of classes for you to book
This is a great place for learning. The campus facilities are all complete and the teachers are very nice.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I felt welcomed when I arrived at the apartment where I would be living. The campus facilities are also great, and the teachers are all very responsible. I'm looking forward to my study and life in Leeds in the coming year.
It is a little difficult for me to find the class room in the building.

school staffs are very nice and helpful, the internet is quite slow and hard to connect if wasn't an ios user, fair amount of society but requires quite a lot of money to apply, and there's not enough sport and music society to be join, the helpers in the sport society is quite rude and not very welcoming.
I've always felt really supported at Leeds, I'm with the languages department and they've always gone above and beyond with student support and acceleration, my department feels a bit like a family.

Leeds has become a real home. Student life here is vibrant and bustling. There is always plenty to do.
I truly adore the University of Leeds. My first campus visit left me charmed by ivy-cloaked red-brick buildings and sunlit lawns—its vintage yet vibrant vibe, plus students chatting over books and strangers helping me when lost, made settling in easy. Academically, it shines: professors connect theories to industry cases (even organizing company trips), reply to advice emails promptly, and the library has great resources plus 24/7 study areas for exams. Life’s convenient too: the canteen has meals for all budgets (including vegetarian/halal options), with on-campus shops and gyms; my photography club does weekly outings, and choosing dorms with inclusive utilities saves hassle. The uni fits Leeds perfectly: 10 mins’ walk to shops, 15 mins by bus to the city center (cheaper than London), 30-min trains to York/Manchester on weekends. Locals are student-friendly, and a Leeds Card gets transport/shopping discounts. Studying here, whether for school, daily life or travel, feels so good！
Honestly, the city is just distracting. Leeds nightlife is way overhyped and if you're not careful, it'll rinse your bank account, especially with how quick the costs are going up now. Sure, the LUU throws events, but they're always packed. And don't even get me started on housing—the second-year panic is real; if you don't sign a lease by October, you're looking at getting stuck in a dump.
I love everything about the university. There is nothing I would change, the campus is great, the libraries are great, and everything works.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my stay at leeds. I would recommend this uni to those I know planning to apply - there’s so much to do here especially when uni gets overwhelming it’s nice to step away and do something you enjoy to relieve the stress and Leeds does that very well with the clubs and societies they offer and e city in general
Having recently moved into The Foundry, in preparation for my Master's degree at the University of Leeds, I have been extremely impressed with the accommodation and all that it offers to its tenants. From the very moment I arrived, the staff have been so friendly, accommodating and eager to help make the check-in/ move-in process as smooth as possible for its tenants (even going as far as to provide a trolley to help families carting all of the tenants' belongings from the car to their rooms!) The room was in pristine condition upon arrival, and it was clear that it had been cleaned to a very high standard by the maintenance team at the accommodation. Furthermore, there are many great amenities here on offer for all tenants, such as a small gym, a games room and two study rooms. Overall, I have been extremely impressed by The Foundry and would definitely recommend this accommodation to any student studying in Leeds.
Overall, the union and the opportunities to make friends are amazing! However, I think the careers service could be improved, as they usually only offer general advice that you can find online.

I’m currently staying at The Refinery and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience! The accommodation is comfortable, stylish, and well-maintained. A special shoutout to Brunoo, the General Manager, whose professionalism and friendliness make everything seamless, and Jane, the Residents Manager, who is always so helpful and attentive—it’s clear they genuinely care about the guests. If you’re looking for a place with top-notch service and a warm, welcoming team, I highly recommend The Refinery!

Fantastic university with caring and friendly tutors and support staff (Philosophy department). LUU (Leeds University Union) has been really supportive whenever I needed help or advice, and there are so many brilliant social opportunities—student societies for every interest, plus the option to create your own if it doesn’t exist yet! The campus feels really safe, with well-maintained facilities, and there is a great sense of community at Leeds. I highly recommend this university!
In addition to the learning environment, the University of Leeds is also a community environment that is very suitable for living and making friends

no major complaints, facilities for humanities subjects are decent as there isn’t any specialty equipment needed, cannot comment for other departments. libraries are nice and full of resources.

The university is very welcoming and offers social activities that can satisfy almost everybody. The only point I feel it needs to be improved is the promotion of societies as some of them may not be visible enough

I love the campus- so many facilities for students, and there are over 340, so no matter your niche interests, there will be like-minded people for you to connect with at university. The union has great support services and Fruity Fridays and Terrace Bar are perfect for nights out- also check out Old Bar if you're into football! As a business student, the careers service has been amazing throughout even my first year when I was trying to find part-time work. WiFi is generally pretty good over campus as well, which is vital around exam season. I love Leeds and recommend it to anyone considering it.

I stayed at Carlton Hill Accommodations. Lovely place. Ivy who works there is sincerely helpful. She always goes out of her way to help every community feel special with the events to ensure we don't feel home sick as international students especially for us from China with the Chinese New Year.

I have been living in Symons House for three years, It’s a safe, clean, and well-maintained student housing with great facilities. Very comfortable to live in.
I have been living in Simmons House for two years now, and next year will be my third year. Simmons has carried my entire college life, with spacious and comfortable rooms, particularly friendly reception, and excellent public area environment!
I’m pretty happy to study at UOL!
The only fault is that masters students are often the forgotten middle child which I guess is because we are only there for a bit.

I was very happy during my stay here. My companions were very friendly. The front desk staff would help you with your problems in a timely manner. There was free milk, coffee and chocolate downstairs every day. There were also many activities organized during festivals. The most important thing was that the flat had an independent washing machine! This saves you a lot of money.
Exams are killing me why do they do this.
It is my home away from home. They have amazing facilities and secure location. I lived there last year but even today if I go visit Leeds I’ll for sure visit my second home (Refinery) to atleast meet Ian (everyone’s favourite security guy). Super friendly security and good staff. Specifically being an international student this accom is super safe Miss my time there a little too much.
A lovely campus. Lots to do, lots of places to eat and a lot of study spaces even beyond the three main libraries.

Brilliant uni with a beautiful campus and lovely sense of comminity
its fine, really. Haven't looked into the clubs or student union since I don't care for either. Facilities are somewhat good. Most computers in the labs Ive worked on are old now though. Internet is a pain to set up, and don't really like having to download an unregistered external app just to use the university wifi.
