I landed here on 1st of September, and attended my welcome week. Trust me I haven't felt homesick then. I met so many people there, so many different communities trying there best to help us out. And there were frequent campus tours, thanks to them or else I would have been lost already. Also, my flat's oven wasn't working which was replaced by the reslife team with 25 minutes. Also, Wifi here is 24/7 and works too well for me. And, here is a Career support team which not only guides you on your CV but also helps you with mock interviews. It is just like a life jacket for us.

I have loved my time at Dundee Unitersity and I am very sad that I only have one semester left. The staff are always happy to help and are very engaging when teaching. The various teaching methods (lectures, workshops, practicals and field trips) give a well rounded learning experience and allows people of differing learning styles to thrive. I highly recommend Dundee both for learning and social life, and would definitely consider doing another degree here.
It is a great uni, with great resources and facilities, close to the town with a great union and support
I really love how close everything is and the library is fantastic.
Dundee’s great you instantly feel welcome and at home the staff are friendly and keen to help you as well as other students being welcoming
I feel that the university has got a service available for all of its students needs, whether it be academic, religious, sexual safety and leisure. It’s also provides a night bus that runs from 8pm on to early hours in the morning, which ensures the safety of all students trying to get home.
The union is the best for sure, all the educational buildings are closed to each other , easy to assess . The sport building has sufficient facilities to let the student to do the sport
Amazing university with staff who are so enthusiastic about their subjects. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming and the uni has so many events on throughout the year so you can never get bored!
Best university I could have ever chosen to study in. Unlimited internet for all my studying needs and endless societies to choose from. They have everything you could ever ask for on campus and there’s always someone you can talk to if you’re struggling.
I've had a fab time as a student in Dundee, and met some of the best people I've ever known. It's a pretty small city (you can walk from one end to the other in an hour), but already feels like home. Life sciences at Dundee uni are amazing and there is so much fantastic research going on that it feels great to be sat in the hub of.
Dundee university is a fantastic university with really good facilities and excellent staff. Both the union and the library which has recently been refurbished are both excellent
Great university, both the academic side and social side are brilliant.
Dundee is an amazing university, it has a great support network to get you through your degree. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here.
The WiFi is terrible in student accommodation. I think its a mediocre university to be honest.
UOD is an absolutely amazing uni that ensures every student gets the best out of their degree they can. The uni offers many services to help with your degree as well as other areas that might need a bit of focus on (mental health). The student union is also amazing in the sense it provides everything you need in one place. The campus is very central making it easy to get to and from. 100% would recommend
couldn’t imagine being st uni anywhere else
Dundee University has been a great experience and I am so pleased I chose this uni
Incredible, have had the time of my life
Dundee is superb, criminally underrated
I love the city and the campus, it's wee but very very cosy and the people are like family. There is a big presence of international students which for me is very important as i am an international student living away from home. It makes it way easier to integrate if you feel welcome, which I do
Great experience at Dundee, student union is by far the best I’ve been to you never get bored of going. Campus is convenient and modern
An amazing Uni with so much to offer
I do feel it has a long way to go in learning support. And academic monitoring
Excellent campus with great facilities and fantastic SU. Wide variety of fulfilling courses available. Only lacks structure to performance sport.
Amazing university, with brilliant lecturers
The university offers lots of opportunities to improve not only in your choosen study field, but also diffrent others with it's over 150 societies, 60 clubs and encouragement for innovation through company start up funds and establishment help.
a first year student at university of dundee and have already loved every moment. the people are wonderful and the staff really help out the students in any way they can
In my first year I have already found that everyone is very helpful and the courses are structured
Dundee has a compact campus making the amount of people you encounter higher compared to other uni's thus creating a very friendly community within the university. The lecturers are also free most of the time for any questions you need and will make alot of time for their students. The only downside is that some of the foreign lecturers are hard to understand speaking/writing.
An amazing university with brilliant resources and teaching standards
Amazing staff Social sciences faculty is excellent
Dundee is an amazing uni! They do everything in the power to support us students and ensure our university experience is the best
Fantastic university with great lecturers, facilities and social life.
I have had the best time as a student here. The course staff are brilliant
Thoroughly enjoying the experience. Students union is very crowded most nights and so less enjoyable. Library is excellent, WiFi throughout the campus.
Brilliant University in an up and coming city. Great night life, top class facilities, best union in Scotland and offers a wide range if course including medicine, dentistry, law and engineering.
Getting involved might seem treaky for any fresher, but in Dundee its not a problem! Lovely people and University staff is always willing to help, all you need is not to be afraid to ask. Student Union is great, many activities and active societies that makes campus very vibrant and buzzing! <3
A fantastic university at the heart of a vibrant city that is undergoing a massive transformation! I moved from Glasgow with low expectations and was totally blown away.
active and diligent supervisors, good students' association, good sport's union, good librarians, good IT workers, and a well-equipped library, which houses audio-visual rooms, study carrels, display and reading rooms and stacks.
active and hard working staff. Everything is good generally. the dental school is good and there are many activities that I can do. people are nice and friendly.
If you're looking to come get drunk and/or be really social and not drunk you'll love UoD. Best nights out in the country if you're drunk.
Excellent university. Great campus and students unions etc
The uni is incredible and the union is second to none
The campus ranges from old buildings to new and modern which creates a nice and balanced mix.
Dundee university is definitely suited to all kinds of people. The union is fantastic but I wish they could play more gigs or live events etc during the year
Everything is organised and efficient, the union is a credit to the university and there is always help available.
lots of activities and opportunity's and everything is very close together.
University is great. Library is amazing. WiFi could be improved. My only complaint is that the student halls are quite expensive and don't have enough storage room.
Great campus, great buildings and lecturers. lovely people and seniors within the sports clubs. Love my house mates, just fabulous.
The University of Dundee gives students everything a student can ask for. It has plenty of opportunities for each student, with facilities for every students needs.
A great place to study and a great place to be. Dundee university is an ideal place for people interested in engineering, medicine, and art.
Campus is a lively place to be around. The union and library have nothing to fault and very welcoming to chat with friends and study.
Fantastic uni. So many societies and sports clubs to choose from. Union is No.1 in the UK!
So far a great experience with very accommodating staff
good union, great campus, library is a bit confusing, great wifi
Dundee offers a fantastic range of facilities and has free wifi available to students all over campus. The staff are also lovely and very helpful. I had a great experience.
Really good university! The courses I'm studying in architecture and it's really good with lectures
Excellent all round student experience. Practical city for students as all amenities are close by so there is little travel cost. Dundee is friendly, and the university is fantastic!
I've ben a student at UoD for 2 years and it's without a doubt the best university in Scotland. The art school is world class, the research facilities are phenomenal and the student association does all it can to get students involved form creative takes on manifesto design to support for student DJs and promotional staff.
Great university with helpful staff in all areas. Doesn't matter if it is a uni problem or personal, they're always there to help or advice. A lot of opportunities in different areas - a lot of great societies and clubs.
Excellent university, loved my time there and didn't want to leave!
I love dundee uni the students are all so friendly the staff so helpful, union the best night out
By far the best university in terms of student satisfaction. Couldn't complain
Best four years of my life! GREAT UNI IN A GREAT CITY!!
Amazing campus, great people, committed lecturers and everything is great overall.
Absolutely incomparable to the rest, obviously.
Dundee is a great city and the university is right in the heart of the city.
Dundee university is a great place to study and socialise, when we break up for summer all we want to do is return. There is great facilities in all the buildings and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Awesome first year to start University life. Couldn't have asked for a better beginning.
It has been life changing. The best experience I have had, and I'm only a fresher! Can't wait for the next 3 years, would do it no where but Dundee.
Excellent campus, dedicated staff and a good reputation
I came to Dundee from Wales. I didn't know anyone and I had never lived in the city before. Dundee uni made me feel so welcome. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, the facilities are absolutely amazing, any questions, issues, queries there is always someone you can ask. The lecturers and all the other staff are amazing. And so is the accommodation. They really do look out for you here.
Absolutely amazing. From the moment you arrive as s fresher the experience is unbelievable and the union is fantastic!
I am just away to go into 2nd Year here and I absolutely love Dundee University, so proud to go here!
An excellent city that has a unique and dynamic student population that fits in well within the city. Excellent teaching and facilities also.
Amazing campus Great uni Union is brilliant Wifi can be patchy
having a university campus within such a small city really connects all the students. it means you dont lose contact with other courses students.
Amazing is all I can say, brill atmosphere! Everybody talks to one another and there's never a lack of things to do.
Great university experience with fantastic facilities.
Everything is in one place which makes getting to and from lectures easy. Student's Union is the safest in Scotland and super cheap. No complaints whatsoever.
Dundee University has both captured and nourished my passion for learning as well as surpassing my expectations of the social life I could have while studying. Dundee as a city is perfect for students, and the university is one of the best in the country for life sciences (most of what I study). Lecturers have inspired me and the university campus, and the city, have stolen my heart. I wouldn't be surprised if I never left Dundee!
Dundee is a beautiful city with knowledgable and professional staff. I couldn't think of a better place to study than DJCAD
I love being at UoD. I love the inclusive and friendly atmosphere and the work people put in to make it a great place to study.
Best experience ever, don't regret it at all.
I attend Kirkcaldy campus (school of nursing and midwifery), not the main campus in Dundee. Campus/facilities: very very basic, the only thing you have is a tiny, overpriced canteen and 2 vending machines. Clubs and societies: non existent unless you count the student forum as a society. Students union: nothing, nothing at all. Career opportunities: outstanding, almost 100% employment rate as Kirkcaldy is primarily a nursing campus. Internet wifi: very surprising but we actually do have fast, reliable internet access.
loved my time at University of Dundee! The Union is amazing
Love the university. Never thought twice about studying anywhere else.
I think Dundee University is an innovative and ambitious university.
I love Dundee uni! It's a small enough place that you can get to know a lot of people very well and everyone is friendly and welcoming, however it's still a lot bigger than home and it allows to you to embrace city living. The halls of residence (Heathfield) are exceptional and I've really enjoyed the chance to build so many friendships with my flatmates and surrounding neighbours. My course is excellent and the lecturers are great.
Great social life, accommodating staff, professionally-orientated teaching.
Low admission bar.
Good location, friendly staff. Amazing atmosphere

University of Dundee
Amazing campus and friendly student atmosphere. Halls of residence are amazing! Buildings are truly great, both architecturally and all facilities that they hold!
Halls of residence are quite expensive. Very busy library, not really big enough during exam time.
Campus is close to the town centre which is big enough to have everything you'd need but small enough not to feel drowned!
Tesco's is a 20 minute walk. That's it. And they're building a bridge so it'll be far closer. There are literally zero downsides to Dundee.
