I landed here on 1st of September, and attended my welcome week. Trust me I haven't felt homesick then. I met so many people there, so many different communities trying there best to help us out. And there were frequent campus tours, thanks to them or else I would have been lost already. Also, my flat's oven wasn't working which was replaced by the reslife team with 25 minutes. Also, Wifi here is 24/7 and works too well for me. And, here is a Career support team which not only guides you on your CV but also helps you with mock interviews. It is just like a life jacket for us.

It is in a beautiful location with amazing people and staff. I never expected Dundee to be this amazing and friendly.
good university with good support for academics by lecturers, did not use career services so can not comment.
Excellent University. Everyone is super friendly and happy to talk to each other. .
I have spent a good time here, the classes and lifestyle in general are good although I still struggle with homesickness.
I attend the art school at UoD and the staff have been very helpful so far. I’ve learned quite a lot about my course and the connections I’ve made at this university will definitely be advantageous for the future.
Great uni with good facilities and clubs. Very clean campus, with modern and well kept buildings. strong WiFi all across campus
This is an amazing university and it has been a dream of mine to attend here since before I even started high school (my older sister used to study here which sparked my interest in it), it has lived up to all my expections and more and I cannot recommend this university enough
All the facilities were really helpful, they made the experience alot smoother and enjoyable.
Pretty decent, good facilities but not enough advertising for clubs, clubs on a weird times.
Extremely satisfied with my experience at the university and have received help at every step.
Clubs not too busy and the careers emails are too much
I had good experience. But the classes being online at the beginning of the semester restricted me from having a complete university experience and socialising.
I have generally had a good experience studying here. I have enjoyed my course and had pretty good opportunities to meet new friends. Some of my course lecturers and horrible people.
Great university and have enjoyed the course so far, student Union is good but has more potential
Having gone through ICD, I can attest to the university's friendliness, especially for us overseas students.
Great experience, super easy calm environment
I made the right decision by choosing University of Dundee. Faculties are helpful and supportive. They’re always eager to solve your doubts and ready to guide you in right direction. Excellent library fasciitis. Overall a perfect place to study.
The campus facilities are all very good with lots to use and access. The student union is very good however it would be nice if it was open for nights out more often. I haven’t had to use the careers service so don’t know what this is like.
enjoyed first year a lot, would always recommend this university to others.
In terms of facilities, the university is really good. The building are located in a location that you have eadily access to main campus, career service, enquiry center, and even bus stops. The green campus can be found every where and it can boost your mental condition as well. In tetms of teachers and professors, personally speaking majority of them are highly educated and have the ability to convey the concept in an appropriate way. They are at the same time friendly and really supportive. Regarding the staffs, more than 98 percent of them are supportive, kind, sympathetic and expert at their jobs.
Great campus with everything I’m walking distance and many activities on to attend
Amazing university i really enjoyed my stay at campus and everything is just nearby and related to studies this university is really good
Good facilities and people with great social life
Good academic staff. But a bit of chaos in the Social Work department.
A welcoming, well-organised community.
Wifi wasn’t very strong in flats
The uni provided a range of opportunities and is close to lots of things like clubs and bars!
My biggest love is the student Union especially the pantry service that provides free food and groceries for student. My experience with the lectures was amazing, everything about the MSc program is value for money.
Amazing university, staff are all amazing and made settling in easier
My time at the University of Dundee so far has been incredibly fulfilling. The university's commitment to academic excellence, practical learning, student support, and multiculturalism has provided me with a well-rounded educational experience. I would highly recommend the University of Dundee to any international student seeking a world-class education in a welcoming and vibrant environment.
A lovely area, with lots of opportunities
One of the best university unions - really good for events at night and good cafes for socialising during the day. Lots of options to join a club or society theres one out there for everyone.
As expected the University of Dundee was worth the move and the expenditure. I was always in the library space in the Scrymgeour building and the ambience was the perfect blend of relaxed and reading. The WiFi did have its days when it was frustrating but overall the bandwidth was impressive. Staff were ‘all smiles’ all day and of course the library cafe and student union cafes served good food . I really appreciated DUSA free breakfast and pantry food, it came in really handy especially for international students trying to find their feet. I give the University of Dundee 8.5/10, would highly recommend to family and friends
University of Dundee has been a great place to study so far as I have met many friends and our personal lecturer is excellent, responsive and attendant. DUSA however leaves much to be desired in terms of resolving society related matters.
The campus is pretty big and has almost everything you need. There are variety of clubs and societies for you to join, suitable for people with different abilities and levels.
A very friendly uni with great connections. The lecturers in the school of life sciences love to help out the students and put everyone in a great mood
Very convenient campus, helpful staff
The university was great for school and mental health support but I think the actual union could’ve been better for social events.
I'm currently a student there and I'm really enjoying my experience. The campus is beautiful and has a great mix of modern and historic buildings. The professors are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, and there are plenty of resources available to help students succeed. The student body is diverse and friendly, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in extracurricular activities. I also appreciate the location of the university as it's close to the city center and there are plenty of things to do and see in the area. Overall, I would highly recommend Dundee Uni to anyone looking for a quality higher education experience.
Didn't make much use of the social aspect of university so I cannot comment. The library is nice but often very busy as it is quite small.
Huge campus, everything is close together and main library is highly accessible.
extremely welcoming and safe environment for students. this university is really diverse and makes sure everyone is included in activities and events.
Very nice university, helpful staff. Lots of resources
University provides good internet across certain areas as well as useful staff support across campus when needed.
honestly really enjoyed it so far, only let down is how expensive halls are.
The accommodation is close to the university of Dundee, 7 mins by walk
Great university very supportive and helpful
The university is in a good location that is close to the city centre. It is has a good library and a wide range of societies for students to join. It regularly holds events and activities for students to participate. They have a variety of services aimed to help students throughout their studies such as the academic skills centre and the counselling service.
I had no problems in campus and found help when required. Career services are very helpful with supporting students needs. I was not a part of the any clubs but I have friends who had good experience. Fun activities were conducted by the student union through out the year.
I really enjoy the university, I felt very welcomed
The uni is nice however I didn’t spend much time on campus
Amazing uni, good advice depending on your course and lots of help if needed
Great university, course has taught me everything I need to know to progress further if I want to.
uni itself is nice as in facilities etc, lecturers are very very unprofessional/inappropriate.
The university of Dundee is an amazing university. The facilities on campus are very easy to find and great and all staff are extremely helpful with any problems you may have. All classrooms and lecture halls are comfortable and have great WiFi access.
Okay campus with lots of room for improvement. Entrance to Dalhousie building is extremely stupid. Entrance to library is too small and can often get crowded. Very decent student union building with comfy seating, nice bars, nice nightclub but weird noises in the toilets and ugly building exterior (especially as seen from Airlie Place). Amazing work with a free breakfast club on weekday mornings however student executive/the hive reception too rarely staffed and unhelpful. Decent swimming pool at the union that could do with modernising refurbishment to changing rooms. Campus green is nice with unnecessary UoD signs and roundabout outside Dalhousie is very unpleasant. Exterior refurbishment to Tower Building is taking way too long and other parts of campus deserve attention too. Life Sciences/CAHID building is extremely ugly with ugly surroundings. Very nice Tennis courts opposite Belmont flats. Campus accommodates for cars too much and green spaces should be expanded and improved.
Good place to stay. Good flatmates. Nice staff
Overall, I must say that I had an extremely poor experience staying at Heathfield for last 8 months. Too expensive for what we get. Even the DUSA shops which are meant to be subsided for students are expensive. We have faced multiple time noise issues in our flat during quiet hours and the security was of no help. The mattress are the worst in the world I must say. I have had complained multiple times and was directed to disability services. We are not disable and the university must understand that. You cannot sleep properly, after a few weeks of usage, started getting backache, neck pain and improper sleep. It seems like I have not slept properly for last 8 months and another 1 month to survive. I can write further, but that would be waste of time. For 707 £ / month, this is far from being satisfactory. Interested only in timely payments but not service. I will never recommend anyone to stay in Heathfield for the money students pay. University must compensate for the agony
My experience has been good, staff are helpful and workload is not too difficult and there is enough time to complete work before deadlines. Mental health and disabilities services are great.
Good university. Someone can come to study for Medicine.
Absolutely no complaints about the university as a whole - any issues have been to do with departments and are discussed monthly to reduce the impact of these issues. Amazing support offered both by the university and DUSA. If living in halls, ResLife are easily accessible for any advice and support regarding social issues within the flats.
Very good place to study. I enjoy coming here as I meet new people. This nursing experience has been really good and i cant wait to study here again next year
Staff are great, very helpful when missing classes. Internet and electronic devices are good standard.
I’ve been here for almost a year and I believe that the campus provides students with everything they need to navigate through the academic year.
Good university, love my course.
Great uni for engineering and socialising
it’s been a good 2 years, lots of in person lectures now
Welcoming relaxed environment, staff are helpful for the most part.
Met some very nice people on my corse who were super friendly and we’ve been friends ever since
Great uni great lectures great clubs
It’s fine nothing special, I like the social spaces
a good place to enjoy your under graduate uni life.
MSI lecture hall is a bit cramped at times tight spaced aswell
The university of dundee is very good to study
Aye it’s decent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really good university with brilliant social spaces and events. The clubs and societies are good and the campus if very big and green.
It’s okay abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
lovely staff, friendly and welcomimg
Really great art uni, super social and in the perfect place in town
Student union needs seriously reworked but other than that it's a great place to study and live
The university of Dundee has been more than sufficient but the whole experience has been marred by student accomodation with dangerous and unliveable conditions
the university needs complete reorganisation
Great social life and amazing careers advisors. Having everything on campus is so handy and I didn’t realise how nice the atmosphere of a campus uni would be. Lecturers also very helpful and understanding.
everything is very compact and close so u never have to walk far.
I've not used much of the societies as my course doesn't really allow with time constraints/placements I find it hard, that's not on the uni though
campus is easy to navigate and good student life
Very diverse environment at the university of dundee. Wide options of societies and clubs to join. Nice food spots.
So far the university has provided me with everything I’ve needed. It’s got tonnes of societies and lots of events at night to go to at the union
Honestly loved being at Dundee uni. The library is fantastic.
Very welcoming and friendly staff, easily accessible campus but some of the layouts of the class rooms and lecture halls are confusing. Lots of amenities on campus.
The university is located in the student centre with good facilities and a friendly environment.
Good campus and good career service
Excellent. Helpful for my studying
Good communication however the curriculum isn’t as good as previous years
Covid has limited experience on Campus.
In my opinion, Dundee University is a great place to study medicine. With the medical school being attached to the Ninewells Hospital, this provides a great opportunity to be thrown into a clinical environment very early on. The system-based curriculum is taught through a mixture of lectures, small group work, tutorials, full-body dissections, as well as communication and clinical skills classes. Although sometimes the admin side and medblogs (the main website med students use) can be a bit disorganised, I have had a great experience so far. There are also a lot of support services available, especially for those from widening access which I am grateful for. Aside from the academic side, there are tons of societies and clubs to join and the nightlife is great! Dundee is very much a community at heart due to its smaller size, and everything is very accessible as it is a campus university.
Dundee uni has been great. Due to covid it’s been mostly online but the Dalhousie building is nice and the lecturers are fab
A great place to study and grow as a person. Lots of activities and events to keep you busy, and excellent support from staff. Many opportunities to develop skills provided by the University itself. Excellent choice overall!
I was only here for a one year postgraduate course but everyone was very welcoming and I had a great time.
University of Dundee is a great University to study at. It has a great student union and a great range of help for students, such as free counselling, carters advice and essay help.
