Rubbish wifi but that's eduroam and it's like that in many unis! Love the student union the best nights out happen there!

Loughborough campus is great, with enough shops, restaurants, sporting facilities and other needs all met within campus. The students union is amazing and if you ever visit a friend in loughborough for a night at the union, you'll have a blast. There's also plenty of societies and sports to meet your interests

Loughborough is everything it appears to be. The Loughborough bubble provides everything you need, the union puts on amazing nights out and town is a fifteen minute walk to a good selection of shops.
Fantastic facilities. Wifi is decent when eduroam connects it just takes forever to connect and you have to manually connect most of the time which is very annoying
Wifi all around campus but can be hard to access sometimes, union is great and has so much to offer!
Wifi is sometimes hard to connect to and there are some places on campus where my phone will not connect. The campus is great and has almost everything we could possibly need.
Facilities are outstanding for sport but also have great facilities such as the library which has allowed me to get all the books needed for my course without having to buy any of them saving a great deal of money. The students union is great for a night out but don't really use the facilities much in the day but they do have a shop. Have been able to join a few societies allowing me to improve my CV.
Loughborough has great facilities, especially relating to sports with two gym's and a Olympic size pool. The wifi works all around campus which I have had no issues connecting too. The student union is great in the day with the area used as a cafe, as well offering a great nightlife. There are many societies and club over range of subject areas which means there is something for everyone.

Loughborough is a great place to study, especially for those interested in sports where I would say it has some of the best facilities in the UK. The only complaint I would have is that I didn't really get the support I expected in finding a career after uni.
Great if you get involved so many clubs and societies to get involved in. If you good at sport obviously the place to be as we are BUCS champions
Only downer is the WiFi which can at times be a bit hit and miss. They are working on improving it though and it is evident.
Despite it's faults, Loughborough is an amazing university and I am proud to say I am a student here.

love it here, student life is great, but when it comes to education many lectures especially on my course are dull, uninterested and boring, we haven't yet to choose a module to specify to what we want to do and therefore are often stuck taking modules we don't need or find relevant to us, maybe because it is such a small course in a school that is irrelevant to us , really we should be linked to the business school

This uni has brilliant facilities and support for students but the wifi is bit sketchy. However, when that's the only downside, you know you are at the right place!

The quality of the facilities present at Loughborough is phenominal. Overlooking the world class sports facilities, there are also field-leading research facilities and social facilities which out-do most other universities.

First think you notice is the outstanding facilities that Loughborough has, most notably for sport! The student's union is run so professionally so there's always something on. With so many opportunities to get involved in sports teams AU or IMS or just casually. The amount of societies is also staggering so you're not stuck for choice if you want something to get involved in. As for the lecture facilities, most of them look brand new and the labs are well equipped also. My only fault is that the wifi can be a pain but rarely does it go down for me.
Loved it since day one. The facilities are outstanding and there is a very good atmosphere across campus. Students and staff here are very happy and friendly.

My first year studying at Loughborough University is fantastic! I really enjoy the atmosphere around the campus.
I've had so many opportunities already in both the union through societies and sport, there was so much choice (I even became a qualified scuba diver). I was exposed to employment opportunities where employers come directly to Loughborough to encourage students to apply, shown as we have the UK's largest career fair. It helped me gain my placement year with Network Rail and I can't wait to go back for final year!
I love Loughborough. Really, I do. Sure, I've only been here a month but rest assured that I've had enough time to settle in and adjust to University life. These words will not do my experiences justice. I cannot express enough how enjoyable my time here so far has been. The campus' location is perfect; the layout and facilities - sublime; the effort put into making students feel at home - unsurpassable; the opportunities put in place to get students involved in their communities - never ending and always a blast. Being a new student here at Loughborough, I can't comment on the 'Career Opportunities', but I can say that I've received more than enough emails about Career Fairs and Employer Presentations. Take it from me and thousands of others when I say that studying at Loughborough University will be one of (if not) the best choice that you will make in your entire life.
Very helpful and friendly environment. Lots of opportunities for sporting, societes and studying. Constantly trying to improve and get even better. Very strong and valued in industry in engineering.

The campus is always kept clean and tidy, and the union holds fantastic events in the evening and careers/society fairs for you to get involved. What an amazing place!

Loughborough is like a family, the atmosphere is amazing and everyone is happy to help you with anything, you feel comfortable stopping and talking to everyone and the events are incredible
Best three years of my life! Loughborough has such a community feel as everyone is on campus. The hall spirits are unlike any other uni and you become so attached to your hall. The town has everything you'd need and everything is walking distance. You don't have to be spotty to come here (I'm not!) but the sports facilities are unrivalled and great value. Loughborough is also well thought of by employees, with great business links for career opportunities - i've just graduated and have landed myself a great job in the centre of London at one of the biggest financial firms in the world! I'm missing Loughborough and the people there so much already, I wish I could do it all again. Don't hesitate, apply! You won't regret it I promise

So much to do on campus with something for everyone, and not just sport which it is well known for the union caters for all tastes with many different themed nights.
