I study Instrumentation and Control Engineering and am in my final year. The Teesside University team have been incredible at getting by me prepared for the job market, as I did a placement year (and didn’t pay any tuition that year unlike other Unis) and they supported in finalising my CV and getting me prepared for interviews. Also the University provides a iPad in first year along side £100 funds to be used on a range of different products monitors, laptops, stationary, mobile phone top up and many more. Every year you get an additional £100. The course has been challenging in the right way giving me a great insight and understanding of what would be expected of me in real world applications getting me prepared for the job market. read more

Currently a second year Animation student and have had little to no complaints throughout the year. The tutors have universally been very approachable and friendly with a passion to help out whenever they can. The student union always has a variety of events to keep yourself busy and help with making new friends and there are always plenty of exciting opportunities to help out and/or get industry knowledge and connections throughout the year too. read more
