Engineering is always going to be a hard course but the teaching I’ve had has been excellent and I’ve felt supported throughout uni. In terms of job prospects most of it does come down to how hard you work but if you work for it brookes has some brilliant links read more

Motorsport Engineering, MEng Hons FullTime

Significant amount of courses very poorly prepared, academic level overall shockingly low. Faculty management is appaling and overall preventing better education. Engineering facilities are outdated. The remaining qualified lecturers take great care in supporting individual students and are the only good thing about this course. Feels like a trap to scam international and EU students. read more

Decent course, plenty of hands on and theoretical teaching. Some modules certainly more interesting than others and most staff are experienced in their field. read more

Very boring course, tailored onto towards a career behind the scenes in F1, which there aren’t enough jobs for the 60 or so course members each year. The only practical outlet is Formula Student which is dominated by a small group of narcissistic students who don’t let you have a look in. read more
