Materials experts play a critical role in industry and are multi-disciplinary specialists, able to apply their knowledge to a range of fields. Teaching the full life cycle of natural and composite materials, courses seek to develop socially responsible professionals who have a good understanding of true material costs. These degree tend to require a good understanding of chemistry, as well as some complex mathematics.
