I have absolutely loved my time at Imperial so far. I'm studying Maths, and the lecturers have been amazingly enthusiastic and extremely clear, the course content has been fascinating and suitably challenging and the people in my cohort are very nice to be around, not to mention passionate about their subject. Imperial also has a very modern and pleasant campus (definitely in South Kensington, I haven't been to the others) and has a brilliant location, right next to the Science Museum and Natural History Museum and a couple of minutes walk from Hyde Park. The careers service is also amazing, offering exclusive events for Imperial students regularly and detailed career advice. read more

Love studying here, so much I came back! Great access to research spaces for postgraduates and staff are super friendly and keen to help early career researchers along. Being in London means great student experiences, including at the Union bar in Beit Quad, and the postgrad community is good - I've made lasting friends at both Masters and PhD level, which helps to stave off the impending loneliness and stress. Imperial also looks great on the CV for future work and research opportunities, and has given me access to opportunities within my PhD like internships, work abroad, running science communication events, and attending a huge range of conferences, symposia, and workshops. Like anywhere it has its issues, mostly with the admin side of things, but that has been my experience everywhere so far! read more

White city campus is nice and clean usually but wish the public health building had cold water refill taps. Not a lot of student activities in this campus and have to go to SK. Shuttle bus there was very crowded on exam days. Yoga room in Collab-88 is too small sometimes . read more
