My flat exceeded my expectations. My bedroom is large with useful furniture fitted, including a large wardrobe. The bed is not the most comfortable but it's alright. I share a flat with 4 others (who are all lovely) and we share a shower room and separate toilet. So far, we haven't had any problems with sharing the bathroom! It's not a luxurious bathroom but it's clean and does the job. I was nervous about sharing a bathroom but my experience has been good so far. The kitchen is fairly large too. We have 3 fridges and 2 freezers between the 5 of us. There are two or three cupboard each. There is a cute dining table with stools but we don't use it much. We also have a sofa and a chair which gets the most use (including guests staying over). Could do with a bit more social space but it's cosy. Only one oven so we take it in turn using it. The block I'm in is right at the back of the Hollies so it's fairly quiet. Easy 5 minute walk to lectures on Glenside, just cross the road.
Very good location, close to UWE but not to far from Stoke Estate and Oldbury Court Estate, easy to get out of the city. Accommodation services were pretty awful, they still have my flat address incorrect after telling them several times. The flat isn't great and a few things were broken upon arrival. Quite a few things broke over the time we were here and, even after reporting them a few times, they are still broken. It's fairly cheap though. My friends have better private accommodation though (which is also cheaper).
