In my first term, we were promised new washing machines and 3 years later, this has still not been put into place. A lot of the rooms had little/to no wifi. As well as in my first term, the lock on my en suite door broke whilst I was inside.

The rooms are very small. The toilet rooms are also tiny (great for going to the loo and washing your hands at the sametime). The best thing was the wifi for computers. The cleaners were good and engeineers came around to fix somethings fairly often. But honestly... Southlands (wesley hall) the kitchens are very old.. the sofa we had was broken and old (they chucked it eventually)... the chairs were like the terrible plastic ones from school. The social experience for most is pretty good... it's quite a close nit community. But the rooms, tiny hall way and old small kitchens... £5000... very poor investment.
