Read Glamorgan Court Reviews
I was an international student at this largely Welsh university. The teachers were very kind and helpful (most of them), but the issues were with the accommodations staff and the student body. I will be brief. The accommodations staff of the Treforest campus was inattentive and somewhat racist and prejudiced towards non-Europeans. Students from other nations were looked down upon, lectured and berated due to their nations of birth by accommodations staff and the student body alike. If you are not from Europe, look elsewhere. Look for a university that will treat you as a human being first.
These halls are totally the worst experience any human can imagine! Upon arriving, the rooms were grubby and the cupboards in the kitchen were total trash. Luckily enough, I've been provided with a small cubby in the fridge and someone nicked my freezer shelf! Plenty of social life right there! On top of that, I'm paying £100+ a week to live on the top of a bloody massive hill, with no nearby facilities all to hear a bunch of alcohol infused "young adults" getting off their faces at three in the morning when I have a class at nine! Not worth it one bit, looking forward to moving out into a student house with my friends next year! I want my money back!
Glamorgan court is average, it's great for social experience and great value for money, the accommodation staff are with you 24/7 only closed 2 days a year I think! Internet could be upgraded as sometimes it is very slow!
