The strike at Goldsmiths massively impacted my education, so much so that my dissertation was written entirely unsupervised. There was no contingency plan or support from the side of the university. Overall, would not recommend, especially not for internationals. read more

I've had a great experience studying at Goldsmiths. The campus has excellent facilities, the Wi-Fi is reliable, and there are plenty of clubs and societies to get involved in. The Students' Union is welcoming and organises lots of enjoyable events. The Careers Service has been very helpful with finding part-time work and developing my skills. Overall, it's a supportive university with a friendly community and great opportunities for students. read more

Goldsmiths is a welcoming uni that offers a nice amount of opportunities that can help people become adjusted into uni life and also there are services that can help students with finding opportunities outside of school, such as volunteering and part-time jobs, as well as helping prepare students for life after university. read more

My time at Goldsmiths has been really good for my first year. The professors are really nice and genuinely care about how well us students do in our courses. However, I only managed to start uni after freshers week due to an application error on my part so I was unaware about societies and where to go to join any. The campus internet is good for the most part but there are a lot of students that do struggle with accessing it and for the careers service they do often let students know that they are there for help. They also send job internships and career fair updates to the student email everyday. However, I haven't gone there for help yet. read more

Goldsmiths is a community space. As an international student, I thought it would be hard for me to blend in, but I was wrong. All the departments are so supportive. The different clubs are fun; you get to make friends and have fun at Uni whilst studying. The resources are endless. I don't have to buy any modules or extra books; the library is filled with all I need. There are lots of quiet spaces. lots of shops around if you need to grab lunch. The toilets are always clean. To think such a big university would have clean toilets all the time was a surprise for me, and they smell good. The transport link is so convenient you can get into central London in less than 30 min. read more
Goldsmiths, University of London
Excellent university that is one of the smaller colleges of the university of London but therefore feels really like a caring family, strong shared values and sense of community. However of course that comes with less facilities, for example a relatively expensive canteen with few choices and a quite basic library. read more
Goldsmiths, University of London
The guest internet and the university's general infrastructure are very poor. I would have higher expectations about that because I'm paying quite a lot of money for a year. So, they have to invest in this. Also, the student portal, etc., is not user-friendly! They have to invest on this case as well. read more
