Archaeology, BSc Hons
Excellent teaching staff with great support throughout my studies. I could go to any teacher about any problem and they would help. Great class size, nice and personal, teachers actually knew you and we are all friends mingled throughout Foundation to MSci years. Great contacts in terms of jobs, I have met many potential employers and I have been made fully aware of where I can go with my degree. Excellent course in general - great modules with lots to learn, equally as much practical learning, especially when compared to other departments in UK. If I had to go through uni again, I would definitely choose UCLan.
Policing & Criminal Investigation, BSc Hons
I am a 3rd year student and about to graduate. I love my degree and UCLan. The course content is relevant and extensive on so many different areas. The lectures are world class, all ex-practitioners from a wide range of backgrounds and really care! The support and education that they offer is worth the 9,000 that I pay. The degree has openned up so many opportunities with essential career and employability support throughout the three years. They also support self-development throughout the course. I made the best decision by doing this degree and by attending UCLan.
Lecturers only care if you have paid your tuition fees. I had several problems with my coursework and I’d seek assistance from my tutor, and he would be too busy to help me out. This is the case for many tutors across the board.
