10 Computer science reviews at University of Central Lancashire (UCLan)
Computer Games Development, MComp Hons
The course is really good and includes a lot of extra things you can learn such as databases and security. The games development course uses a custom engine made specifically for UCLAN which helps teach the basics
Computer Network Technology, BSc Hons
Absolutely love my course, my course tutor is the best she has been really helpful and helped my through alot of personal issues . As long as you are willing to help to seek help they will do their best to help. The balance between labs and lectures are perfect.
Computing, BSc Hons
My bachelors degree was very quality taught. A lit of emphasis is on developing students with skills to work in teams and independent. This degree is what you out in. If you work hard and attend classes you can get very good grades. Loved it here
I was so excited to perservere with my dreams but they were shattered by my poor choice of university. to my shock most these tutors arent even fully trained doctorates and dont even have time for their students because they are too busy with their bachelor degree work. For the money i had to pay and get into more debt for wasnt worth that and I expected better. I cannot reccommend this university for that reason and it did not help me improve my life at all even when i enquired for help. their helpa nd support secotr is absolutely useless and do not follow up strictly to that enough of a distressed student..
They make you do some stupid 'challenge' first thing for an entire month. I came here to study my specific course not mess around. TBF I realised I didn't like it at UCLan entirely not just the course - thats why I dropped out.
