By member916052 On 30th September 15It's medicine, need I say anything else, apart from CBL is terrible.
Medicine, MBBCh Hons
By member1318395 On 13th November 15Like the fact that we learn a particular subject throiugh multiple mediums e.g. lectures, tutorial, practicals and dissections. Also enjoy anatomy despite the amount of work needed in preparation.

By member821888 On 15th April 16This course is hard work, however it is so incredibly interesting and the the staff very approachable and willing to help. The course is structure in a way which makes the subject easier to understand and allows you to develop your skill set. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to do medicine

Medicine, MBBCh Hons
By member647984 On 12th May 20Poorly organised throughout, neither student nor teacher knows what is fully expected of them, C21 is far inferior to the previous course although it’s easier as you’re taught far less. Cardiff is for students who have mostly been rejected from other med schools and as one ITU consultant said to me in third year “I’m surprised Cardiff is still producing competent doctors at this rate”

By member1352624 On 27th November 20Lots of hard work- there is a lot of self-directed learning. However, this is in conjunction with tutorials, practicals and teaching on placement. Doctors in Wales are friendly and generally happy to help. It's also a good place to get involved in research- Cardiff is at the forefront in neuropsychology.

By member1154575 On 24th February 21Things start out great in the early years. But third year onwards is awful. It is mostly independent learning. Finals exams for all medical schools are called osces, and Cardiff only gives you two: one in second year, and then your finals in 4th year (this time 5th year). Cardiff does very little to prepare you for these. The format of the exams is often a surprise and inconsistent with the only mock you receive 2 years prior to your finals.
