By Hexiqi On 26th July 19Good subject. I think it is good for student to study.
The annual fees for this course rose by £1250 from 2016 to 2017. So far having been 2 months here, the teaching quality isn't too bad, I wouldn't say the lecturer's are THE best, but they are somewhere in the middle. They do try to engage with students and prompt answers from us, but it hardly ever works. Some lecturers just bore the crap out of you cause of their monotonous tone and rather slow speed of talking. I feel like the lecturer for Maths and Stats is excellent, rather fast for some, but just nice for me. Legal studies and Financial Accounting lecturer are not too bad either, for management and economics, they are very sweet people, but they just aren't really good..teachers? Or that could be because those two modules are already boring on their own, so it's hard to interest us. I haven't had any contact with my personal tutor lol. Don't confuse personal tutors with those in charge of our tutorials. My tutorial leaders for Management and financial accounting are excellent btw

By Monkeyblues On 28th July 15First year, with any course really, usually just covers the basis. Even though some modules weren't the most interesting and some lecturers didn't really make the effort to actually encourage you to listen to them, the ones striclty connected to the course were run perfectly. The tutorials for Management Accounting, Financial Reporting and Introduction to Finance were a great help when it came to understanding the material thaught during lectures and a great exercise before the exams. Finishing the course at Cardiff University also enables you to get loads of exemptions from professional bodies such as CIMA and ACCA, which is a great start to your new carieer.
