9 Business studies reviews at Brunel University London

Student Review: 5 /5

Business and Management (Accounting), BSc Hons

By DimathSenaratne On 28th October 20

Brunel is often underrated but I would say the atmosphere created at brunel really allows you to make friends not only from your course helping you expand your knowledge. In terms of value for money one of the best unis out there. Staff are very friendly and keen on ensuring students do well. Course content was sufficient but I feel adding more accounting specific knowledge to give a competitive advantage for students when applying for a job would be useful. Brunel has partnered with many firms in the UK but if you are an international student like I am (Sri Lankan) Brunel may not be the most heard of university mainly due to it not being named after a famous city like Manchester or Bristol for example.

I studied for a masters in management. I felt the course content could have been better. Job prospects is okay though if you don't have much experience; you would still have to apply for graduate roles as those who have just BSc which was what I did.

Business and Management (Marketing), BSc Hons

The course is verh fun. The learning activities are a mix of group work and personal study. Group work will really help you build transferable skills when looking for a job and in life generally. In addition to helping you complete and understand work from a better perspective as you are able to work closely with your peers and hear their views and possibly learn of eachother.

The above mentioned reviews are excellent but it all depends on the students trying to Use all the services available rather than being pushed towards them

Not the best the course is set up without second chances and 100% coursework or exams which is unfair to students and again some lecturers can’t speak English at times.
