Doesn’t qualify you to be a counsellor (incase you didn’t know, some people dropped out when they found out) Didn’t manage covid very well, but guess it was a weird year...

The teachers are pretty good if you need to ask for help, the statistics ones are a bit difficult but the resources on brightspace are really useful

The labs offer eye tracking, EEG, ERP, and TMS scanning (which are very expensive), they hold workshops throughout years 1 and 2 to teach you how to use expensive software for data analysis and teach you how to set up your project in final year. The course offers a range of topics, in first year they allowed us to vote on our favourite topics to study! Throughout the year they offer careers advice and their website holds information about future careers. The personal tutors can advise you specifically on this and also throughout your uni experience, I found lecturers to be kind understanding and helpful throughout my 3 years here.

Don't even know where to begin. Lectures boring. Half the time lecturers didn't turn up. Personal tutor away for most of dissertation time meaning no supervision available. Course content incredibly basic, far too broad and not very interesting. Job prospects not great because Bournemouth is not seen as a reputable uni to have graduated from.

For me the best part of this course was that in the first year there was only one stats unit, which is what i was looking for when searching for psychology courses as anything to do with numbers is a nightmare for me! The content is so interesting, would definitely recommend.
