Like a drunken Welshman said to me on my first night in Aber "Maths? All the honeys do maths!" And by God was he right. Out of all the courses at Aber there are very few you would be proud to be seen on a night out with, and don't mistake me here, I mean a very select few.
The people who do maths seem to be the most relaxed attractive people you will encounter at Aber, and despite a few hiccups and cowboy hat wearing exemptions, it's all really pretty good. And they tend to stick to themselves and the maths soc, which works well for everyone.
Course wise it's dull as f*ck but it's maths so what are you gonna do? At least you'll have something nice to look at (men and women) when your phone dies mid way through complex algebra
Best thing about my course? My personal tutor without a doubt (hi Daniel!). Also Maths and economics are two veeeeery highly sought after subjects so I have a job now. (Whoop!). Teaching wise, I really struggled with Maths (partly because of my own problems) and I found economics a lot more enjoyable. However if you do go,take Mathematical Physics. Best course ever.
