By member962943 On 17th October 21Lectures are rushed through so you may as well just stay home and watch the lecture recordings at your own speed, to be able to learn and create decent notes Lectures are only 45 minutes and the lecturers sometimes struggle to use the software, which can often lose 10 minutes of lecture time Lack of engagement from the lecturer with students in the lectures, you just sit and listen to somebody read through a PowerPoint presentation, with no opportunity for questions and feedback Foundation year is advertised for those who lack the necessary qualifications for the degree schemes, however they expect you to understand A-level content in your first week Limited support from university for students who are doing a foundation year to help them get back into education No support for mature students
