Mechanical Engineering, BEng Hons
Mechanical engineering was a very rewarding degree to work towards. There’s no possible way for me to say whether it was good value for money since I don’t have a choice of what I pay as almost all universities charge the maximum possible price allowed by law for their courses, and since the courses used to cost considerably less and will have likely increased further since finishing my degree. I have ranked ‘personal tutor’ so low as we were not directly provided with one.
Aerospace Engineering, MEng
The course itself is a wonderful blend of physics, maths, engineering and mechanics. It is taught dynamically, with many practical sessions to back up the lectures, and with a very good teaching staff who I have countlessly emailed at terrible hours to confirm assignment details, and received a prompt response every time. Do they ever sleep? Feedback is generally available for all the tasks undertaken, with a serious look at the parts of the assignment you may have missed or not handled as strongly.

Course is what I expected but the majority of staff for tutorial are useless. I once had my workef crossed out just so they could show me another method that doesn't work. Btw my workings crossed out had the correct formulas and answer. He decided to confuse me
