The University has been advised by policy makers that the return date for students who are not on a practical or creative course has been delayed from the expected Monday 12 April. Instead, they expect that the Government will announce that students who are currently studying remotely should continue to do so in full, until at least Monday 17 May.
My APT has been amazing throughout the whole year, really helpful whenever I’ve been struggling and I’ve felt very able to speak to him even though I’ve never actually met him! The lecturers have been great despite the struggles of remote learning and have always answers questions promptly and relatively thoroughly
The law/business block is amazing! The tutors are all so nice and willing to help.
The subject is content rich and hours are needed to understand it all but the combination of lectures and more focused workshops in smaller groups is great for developing your understanding and filling in gaps you may have missed in lectures and independent study.
My course has been a bit up and down so far. Sometimes the consistency in teaching has not been equal for example lecturers just reading off slides or not turning up compared to other lecturers who go above and beyond for you to understand. We also have only had 24 actual teaching weeks, which when paying so much for doesn’t seem like you get enough for it
Loved my course ana she modules. However constitutional law was not as good. The staff and module was very unorganised and the staff were just not very good and teaching or making it easier to learn. But the other modules were amazing. All other staff friendly and always willing to help.
