The University has been advised by policy makers that the return date for students who are not on a practical or creative course has been delayed from the expected Monday 12 April. Instead, they expect that the Government will announce that students who are currently studying remotely should continue to do so in full, until at least Monday 17 May.
After changing to this course I've found that its a pretty decent course however the teaching quality isn't as high as expected. There tends to be a lot of confusion in the small lectures we have and a lot of miscommunication.
I think the lecturers were very dedicated to their craft as most were successful illustrators outside the university. However because of this it meant it was hard to get a hold of them when it came to needing extra help. I think the course was quite unorganised and there was a good four weeks where we didnt have any university and there was no real reason for it.
Feel like I had a better experience at UWE compared to what I've heard of UOB. My tutor was reliable and helpful, and the course content was kept interesting. The Arnofini is a great place to meet other artists and designers and get inspired. Final year was tough but I think everyone feels that way at uni.
Sick course, been very happy with it. Lots of work but I’ve still found time to go out a fair bit, go on trips and do loads of society stuff. Just need to strike a good balance, there’s no reason why you can’t get a first in pretty much everything and still go out a lot and have a good time.
