Primary Education (5-11 years) with QTS, BA Hons

I would love to write a review but I feel I haven’t gained anything from this course other than skills in how-not-to-teach. The lectures are rude and honestly they couldn’t tell you from a crowd, who is taking their course. The course is totally over-subscribed, which is their main reasoning for why we are never ever at uni in person. Total rip off, should’ve gone to Northumbria.

Primary Education (5-11 years) with QTS, BA Hons

My course is currently mainly online due to hybrid learning which I do not enjoy as I find it harder to focus than being in the lecture/seminar room. I have had no issues so have not had a chance to meet my tutor or speak to her much but from her introduction she seems friendly and available to help. Placements in primary schools are the best part of this as the experience is what will drive our career. However, the placement team struggled to find myself and many others a placement in our given block periods which caused issues for myself trying to get more weeks off work. But they finally sorted me one and I have been enjoying being in a school. All the year 1 leads are helpful and send weekly emails with any updates and reminders of lectures.

Very hit and miss depending on the lecturer. Some are INCREDIBLE and I can't praise enough. Some need to reconsider their career choices in stock working with young people.
