Virtual visit days have taken place.
TEACHING NOTES:
Most classes, tutorials, seminars, and lectures of 35 students or less will continue to be taught in-person. Specific remote provision will be made for students who cannot be in St Andrews at this time. Most of their large teaching activities must remain online at the start of semester. They strongly encourage students to wear face-coverings when in company indoors.

I think postgraduate courses are mainly self-directed learning, with good guidance from teachers, and some courses are also very interesting.

Very flexible course structure that you can try out other subjects as well. Personal tutoring is not the best but it does have a very low student to teacher ratio so you get a lot of contact time.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. With a 24 hour lab and PhD students as demonstrators in the afternoon as well as meeting PhD students/Prof. tutors weekly the amount of enthusiasm and drive in this department is amazing.
