Interesting course with friendly, knowledgeable, and funny tutors. You use industry-spec equipment so after the 3 years you know exactly how to work everything. There are societies where you can put your journalism training into practice - Radio Sonar, Sonar TV and Sonar Magazine.

Multimedia Journalism, BA Hons
By lonelygirl_ On 26th September 15Firstly, I want to say f*ck the Tories! The only reason I have given a low rating for "value for money" is that I believe £9,000 a year, for any course, is beyond ridiculous! However, the course itself is great and will open up many opportunities for you. You're being taught by industry-level professionals who are genuinely enthused by the concept of multimedia journalism. Not only are you learning from these people on a day-to-day basis, you're also working with them (which certainly gives that extra sense of professionalism!) What you learn on the course is everything you need for entering the real world as a journalist. Not only do you learn about writing, audio, broadcasting and editing, the course also outlines the importance of law and ethics which is extremely useful in regards to publishing work, etc. Your prospects after this course are completely open. You'll be gaining more than enough skills and knowledge to be able to achieve anything within the industry.
