By member1335281 On 12th December 18Its far from the best course, there are huge areas for improvement with a lot of outdated material. Lecturers are hit and miss, some are absolutely diabolical whereas others go above and beyond the usual teaching standards. Course organisation is nothing short of shambolic. The final year project module was the worst, all of the supervisors had different ideas about what and how to mark things and no unified marking style/scheme was ever adhered to. Value for money should really have an option for zero stars, university is an absolute scam these days, it just isn't worth £9250 per year. Fact. That goes for any university though. If you don't absolutely need a degree for your job (Medical, Law, etc) don't get one its not that great. The only redeeming feature is that the course offers an Industrial Placement Year, this was a real eye open, working in the industry (and being paid to do so) makes you see just how disconnected and deluded the world of academia is from the industry.
