Human Biology and Infectious Diseases, BSc Hons

the course itself is fantasticly interesting. Only a small portion of the tutors have adequate teaching skills though, and all are very poor at communicating with students. I have been told to simply Google something by a tutor before when asking a question about the content. Tutors are very unorganised just like the rest of the university, seems to be a running theme throughout the uni across all courses.

Biology, BSc Hons

The enjoyment, and in some cases the content, of the lecture has a massive impact on what is taken in. Geoff Hyde is one of a kind, he delivers his lectures in an old school kind of way but this highlight what is needed to be known and gets straight to the point. Other lecturers how mass enthusiasm and can connect you to want to research the topic independently whereas others can be quite overbearing and just give you a headache with the information on one slide alone. It is thoroughly enjoyable though.
