Politics & International Relations and Philosophy, BA Hons

By On 1st October 15

The support provided has been overwhelming. I've got two personal advisers, a student mentor, and a peer guide so far. They are easily contactable and very friendly as are the lecturers. I like the variation I have between the courses I am studying, since they all somewhat relate yet are very different but interesting.

There should be more lectures and seminars. 8 hours a week of studies does not provide enough progress into the course

History and International Relations, BA Hons

Throughout my modules, the seminar teaching has been fantastic, with lecturing being a mixed bag. I've loved my first year at Royal Holloway regardless.

History and International Relations, BA Hons

Really good first year....but British economic history (2nd term) topic had questionable teaching, and very poor organisation, making it extremely difficult to understand. Tutors were very little help as well.

Geography, Politics and International Relations, BSc Hons

By On 26th February 17

Love the diversity of the course, although techniques can be a bit dull. My geography personal tutor is good, I have chosen not to use my politics one. On the whole the teaching is good, with a certain 3 lecturers standing out in particular. I cannot answer job prospects as hasn't really affected me yet.
