By member1351797 On 26th October 20It’s somewhat limited but you get what you put in. The issue is the tutors are very busy indeed. They will do their best though for sure.
German Studies, BA Hons
By BeccaH31 On 31st May 18Fantastic course! It's a real shame UOP have got rid of it. I've had a fantasic time this year. The lecturers are amazing, they make the course exciting and fun. They're easy to contact too, which is fantastic when you have an urgent question. The assessments have been easy and the only times I've been really stressed have been when I've left all of my work to the last minuet! The only problems I've had are useless modules. One is Language, Society and Mind. Not only is it an ENGLISH LANGUAGE module, but it is compelety irrelevant to what I want to study. I came here to study the German language and Germany itself NOT the language and communication of bees. There's another module called Starting Language Research that really should be done in second year because that's when it'll have more relevance to students.
