I think Nottingham made the most of a terrible situation with online learning. Obviously it was never going to be as good as in-person teaching but it was fine online.

Philosophy is not worth learning. It’s fun at A level, it’s not fun at uni. You will realise you have wasted your time, this is not a useful degree. Please just go do engineering or something

The course is very interesting however some modules I do not enjoy and wish to resist my year so I can focus on things I know I like as I really didn’t do well this year.

Philosophy lecturers at Nottingham are incredibly intelligent and very passionate when they teach, it encourages me to work hard. There is also a lot of choice, there are a few core modules and the rest you get to pick.

It’s a good course to pick if you’re worried about what you can do with a philosophy degree and to keep your options open and it’s easy to transfer to either side at any point during the degree

Too much focus on analytical philosophy, if you're into existentialism this is not the course for you. Teaching can be good as there are some lecturers who try, but the majority of the department struggle to communicate well in lectures and as a result attendance is fairly low.
