Philosophy, BA Hons
By member660867 On 10th July 21I think Nottingham made the most of a terrible situation with online learning. Obviously it was never going to be as good as in-person teaching but it was fine online.

Philosophy, BA Hons
By member735918 On 8th February 19Philosophy is not worth learning. It’s fun at A level, it’s not fun at uni. You will realise you have wasted your time, this is not a useful degree. Please just go do engineering or something

By member432427 On 16th June 18Philosophy lecturers at Nottingham are incredibly intelligent and very passionate when they teach, it encourages me to work hard. There is also a lot of choice, there are a few core modules and the rest you get to pick.
Religion, Philosophy and Ethics, BA Hons
By member1332288 On 9th June 18It’s a good course to pick if you’re worried about what you can do with a philosophy degree and to keep your options open and it’s easy to transfer to either side at any point during the degree

Philosophy, BA Hons
By member1119822 On 26th November 15Too much focus on analytical philosophy, if you're into existentialism this is not the course for you. Teaching can be good as there are some lecturers who try, but the majority of the department struggle to communicate well in lectures and as a result attendance is fairly low.
