Online uni does sometimes feel like a bit of scam but the content is good and most lecturers and seminar leaders adjusted pretty well to online teaching apart from a few who when people complained that this or that was broken or wouldn't show up, they didn't know how to fix it or sometimes claimed that it wasn't broken which just left people being unable to find some of the work.

Classical Civilisation, BA Hons
By member526521 On 16th May 17Most tutors are fab (a few are not my taste but you can't please everyone, I'm sure this is the same with other courses). There is a real mix of topics and styles of learning, from the traditional texts tested with exams to reception of the classical world through film/modern media with online assessments. Sometimes I feel we get fewer contact hours than other courses but there's always work to be doing in the meantime. I would suggest modules taught by Carl and seminars by Charlotte - they're the best!
