The only reason I'm not sure about value for money is because I basically paid £3000 to work on a film where the "cinematographer" didn't know how to use a damn camera. Our lecturer for first year was extremely pretentious and he had a bias towards certain students on the course that were on the foundation course and brown nosed him the entire time.
We had an issue with our lecturer over a short film we had made where he made us legitimately question whether or not we wanted to be on the course, that's a 6 man team.
However that lecturer is gone now and I'm very happy with his replacement.
Honestly, when compared to other universities, this is not worth your money. In the university max of 2 times a week. You are left to work just about everything out on your own and there are no tutoring sessions on important things, like budget management, team building and management.
When going to tutors for help, to get the most out of your money and the university, the tutors act like theres something really wrong and that you shouldn't be coming to them for advice?
Very inactive course.
