6 Fine art reviews at Newcastle University
Fine Art, BA Hons
Good course but would prefer being in at least 4 days (I’m actually at Newcastle college studying illustration 2 days a week but this website didn’t let me enter that)
Fine Art, BA Hons
1st year had scheduled studio time where you can experiment various media including paints, sculptures, prints..etc Space was not over crowded, workshops were free to come (no booking needed), teachers are all supportive. City was also great. Accommodations are cheap,(compared to other universities), some good art supply shops, and many eateries- everything is close and convenient. The environment may not be too attractive as places like Manchester, Edinburgh, London.. etc, however, for BA studies, I think this environment is suitable, where students can concentrate in their study.
Fine Art, BA Hons
With the environment of the city, it’s a good art course. There are enough materials shops in and outside of the uni.
Fine Art, BA Hons
very structured course modules lack flexibility
Fine Art, BA Hons
Research project module briefing and risk assessment forms failed to address work place sexual harassment issues thereby placing internship students at risk .
Fine Art, BA Hons
Brilliant course. Staff are mostly brilliant, great mixing between year-groups and almost too many opportunities.
