Virtual Q&A sessions on 19th Jan & 29th Jan. On-campus open day on 22nd Jun.
They aim to provide as much on-campus teaching as possible. They’ll continue with its ‘block teaching’ approach for most courses during the 2021-22 academic year, meaning you’ll learn in small study groups in four blocks of seven weeks. In addition to the existing expectation of wearing face coverings in corridors and communal spaces, face coverings must now be worn by all staff and students wherever it is difficult to maintain social distancing indoors.
There are a lot of career prospects for me with History. I have also done a course in German alongside history, and so I feel that makes me prospects better. The tutors are all fantastic and are always enthusiastic about their work, and eager to help. The course content is very interesting, however I am currently working alongside the feminist society to introduce more course content with significant historic women!
We have a large verity of staff so it's hard to say wether the teaching is good or bad cause some are amazing and others aren't. I also wish we had more taught about the job prospects of the course even if it was just mentioned in seminars
Really good course but lack contact hours due to its nature. Am only in uni 3 days a week and therefore fail to see what I am paying for. Have finished up for term on the 9th April and don't return until mid September and again, fail to see how this is getting my money's worth. Other than this, I have absolutely loved the content of this course and have found it engaging and exciting!
