trash university, the computing department is a joke, the marking is a horrendous extremely unfair. Teaching is trash they don't teach you nothing. They honestly don't care don't be fooled by top 10 uni
Careers fair was aimed at Computer Science students, none of the employers had heard of our course and were not interested in talking to us. A lot of our modules are the SAME as Computer Science, our modules which computer science students do not do are still difficult and very technical.
Job prospects are none. Each meeting with employers were only with employers being in the departament building like 5 of them. No connections no fairs. Staff being extremely helpful or not helpful at all. Overpriced experience which you can get for free in many countries
The computer labs are open 24/7. We have a bunch of different lecturers and TA's which are always willing to help out. If that's not enough, there's also a computer science society made to help other students.
I was given freedom and provided with support and guidance to achieve and learn what was necessary, as well as what was interesting to me, specifically. I am very confident and skillful at what I do now. Lancaster helped me become good at what I do and gave me the foundation of a good life in which I can accomplish amazing things as I further develop my skills.
