9 Design studies reviews at Falmouth University
Interior Design, BA Hons
I have just finished studying the wonderful Interior Design course at Falmouth. It has been such an amazing couple years at the university with the constant support of hard working lecturers and tutors, who are always finding new ways to improve. I found that Falmouth has been so personal the whole way through and I was not seen as a number on a piece of paper which I was at other interviews when I was looking at Interior Design degrees. The course allows you to explore different routes within interior design and its definitely one of the most employable courses in the UK. Couldn't recommend this course enough!

We get to work with real clients throughout the year to create a design solution for their business which they will eventually pick one to incorporate in the final space! So straight off the bat we get great real life professional opportunities.

Tutors are really what makes the course, these guys are amazing and really put value in your time here. Honestly if it wasn’t for them I would of moved uni in an instant.
Graphic Design, BA Hons
Although there is a lack of materials given (I.e. we have to pay for paper and printing etc) the course is phenomenal. Weekly guest speakers from top and varied agencies or designers. Competitions, awards, weekly reviews and team meetings. The community within this course is next to none and the opportunities that have come my way thus far have been amazing. Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.
Illustration, BA Hons
The Illustration alumni have won numerous awards and prizes. Students here go on the achieve great things. I think this is because the course is so well respected and presented. We're expected to achieve this, though not feeling pressured. We're guided to fulfil our potential. Our tutors are all practicing illustrators; they know what they're talking about, and are always approachable. We have workshops, seminars, crits and lectures five days a week, which makes me feel like it's worth the money. I'm feeling more confident every day.

A lot of work, but you can tell all of it is setting you up for the future, amazing contact time and studio space is stunning

Course seems okay, however we are paying £9000 and we have to pay for everything. I strongly believe that some of the things should be provided and trips (paying for coach and etc) should be included in those £9000. Other then that I am it seems good.
