Mathematical Physics, BSc Hons

By member762861 On 14th October 21

It’s one of the hardest courses to do because you will have to do both physics and maths very intrinsically, but if you love the subjects, it’s the best course you can go for because of the later opportunities it provides.

Chemical Physics, MChemPhys Hons

By member1053092 On 11th December 20

Well, to be honest I don't have much to say as I still haven't finished my degree but as of now I really like the course. It is challenging of course, but honestly, if you enjoy chemistry, physics and maths you will definitely enjoy this course. Furthermore, as it is everywhere the teaching quality and the course content is quite subjective. I have some classes and tutors that I prefer over others but the overall quality is great. I've received great support from all of my tutors.

Physics, BSc Hons

Learning physics at Edinburgh has just led to my passion for the subject to grow and grow. Generally the teaching is fantastic, with some very interesting, captivating yet funny lecturers. All the content has been very interesting and just hard enough to keep you on your toes! You have a lot more lectures, workshops, labs etc. than other subjects, so definitely feel like your getting your moneys worth. A great environment to learn and meet some great people!
