Geophysics and Meteorology, BSc Hons

We are given a very good foundation of maths and physics which help with other courses. There are lots of labs and feild trips to help gain a practical knowledge of the subject along with the theory learnt in the class.

RUBBISH LECTURERS! NO ONE CARES ABOUT CAREER DEVELOPMENT! STRUCTURAL LECTURERS (F.F.) NEED TO RETIRE OR GET A NEW JOB, CANNOT TEACH STUDENTS AT ALL. REALLY SHAME, HAVE ONE MORE YEAR LEFT AND HATE IT ALREADY.

Geology, BSc Hons

Awful awful teaching department (Earth Science). 90% of tutors and lecturers are socially inept and incompetent. No post uni development (ie career advice). Lecturers seem very uninterested. Work consistently late being marked (dissertation took over a month past the publish mark release date). Teaching staff have empathetic issues and tend to be socially underdeveloped.
