I am first year so I do four modules and each one is 50% coursework and 50% essay/exam. I have four lectures a week and four seminars. seminars are more relaxed and fun where we do activities to review what we've learnt which I find useful. Three are unperson and five are online which is why I rated value for money lower. We have a service/ account on a web called blackboard where teachers upload recordings and powerpoint which is amazing bus everyone always falls behind at some point. personal tutors vary, but mine is awful, I haven't heard from home since I've been here but my roommates personal tutor is greta and sets up monthly meetings with her so it really does depend. even if your tutor is like mine, you can always email any of your lecturers for information (that's what I do) and if it isn't relevant to your course then there is always other emails, there is an email for EVERY issue or a department for every concern which I love.

So far a very good course with a lot of interesting aspects to it. Loads of reading to do though as you’d expect with any university course.

A very interesting course with endless job prospects. It can be somewhat repetitive with lecturers constantly reading the PowerPoint- then again aren't all university's like that? The only issue I have is that when recording lectures;it can take over a week for the lecturer to upload which is very frustrating especially when catching up with a missed lecture

Absolutely amazing, so glad I chose this course. I was doing criminology at another uni before but I really didn't enjoy it. If you want a career in policing then the practice side is definitely for you and the investigation pathway can lead into so many other things; not just the police!

An amazing course with wonderfully helpful lecturers with varied teaching styles. A great peer mentor system run by the criminology society.
